Eating the remaining bread. Kent jumped out from the piles of debris, he walked closer the to exhausted lizard man.

The lizard man tried to stand up but fall in the end. The backlash of overexerting one's left had taken effect, its muscle were completely paralyzed.

There's also the exhaustion from the battle, the lizard man couldn't do a thing it could only watch as Kent closed the distance.

I have reached the limit on how high my attributes could reach at level one.

"I don't have a need for you anymore, so, sayonara'

The lizard man closed its eyes accepting its fate.

"I should give you a painless death, thanks for your help"

The blade cut the lizard man's head cleanly in an instant, without pain. The head roll on the ground blood dripping from it.

Kent left the area, heading straight to the western district where a mall is situated.

'I need to gather supplies before the second wave arrives.'

No food can be purchased with the use of Genesis Points. So Kent planned to harvest supplies to insure himself.

Kent passed through the streets. Smoke rose from buildings ablaze with fire, some beast hunting humans could be spotted.

Fighting is occurring everywhere, everyone is desperate to lived, humans are forced to adjust in this new world in order to survive. Only those that had resolved themselves could survive, those that didn't back down from the challenges could rise.

Talents would begin to appear, the old boring world of peace has now ended. A new world era had arrived, an era of devastation and massacre, an era of bloodshed and survival. A new era where the strong devour the weak.

[Apocalyptic Era]

'Compared to game the reality is far terrible I could see death wherever I look.'

Kent thought as he passed through the ruins of the past.

Corpses could be seen everywhere blood turning the streets into a pond of death. Some distance away from him, he could hear terrible screams of people dying and some that been praying to God.

Boom! Boom!

A huge explosion spawned a fire that reached such a considerable height that occurred at the street a couple blocks away.

A small gas station exploded. Kent moved cautiously as he approached the site of the explosion.

Not wanting to attract the nearby beasts and monsters, he quietly climbed to the second floor of a shop and peered outside.

Outside he saw an abomination running around wreathing the area into destruction. A huge humanoid creature with a head of a bull, it possessed powerful paws finished with curved claws, as sharp as kitchen knives, to easily slice through skin and bone. His legs stagger on two diamond hard hooves which can break through anything.

'Minotaur, how come a Minotaur would appear in the survival period? the lizard man is understandable but a Minotaur isn't this overkill without tanks there would be no way humans could face off such abomination.'

'Even a tank would have a hard time hunting down this guy, that's it to the notion that guy won't move and just received attacks.'

Kent thought trying to comprehend the situation.

'It is because of me? Killing off the lizard man cause the appearance of the Minotaur.'

'That might be the case, then If I were to kill this Minotaur a stronger monster would appear.'

Thinking about this gave Kent the shivers.

'I won't kill it for now, it can wait for the next time'

The Minotaur left heading straight to the area where he just came from.

From his vantage point, Kent saw numerous beasts and monsters leaving the area, probably to find more people to hunt and to spread the destruction.

A few hours have passed, and it was now night-time, Kent had reached the front of the mall. He could see a huge hole above that might have been cause from the previous meteor fall.

Kent spread his perception range while cautiously moving forward. Unlike back in the subdivision no corpses could be seen closed to the mall.

This made Kent on guard knowing that silent places are the most dangerous one's.

Reaching the parking lot, signs of people getting dragged while struggling could be recognized in a single glacé, hand print blood marks on the cars and on the concrete could be distinguish.

Kent had a suspicion, he unsheathes the sword and equipped the shield. Since the start of the apocalypse he had never used the shield, but now he was equipping it.

Slowly entering one of the malls entrance situated close to the marketplace, there he saw the floor painted with blood, It's clear that a bloody massacre had just happened here.

The fresh metallic scent of blood.

Kent kept staring on front of him trying to detect any movements. He could not determine the exact location of the monster that had caused this massacre but.

He could locate the area where the monster was at, but for some reason he couldn't detect its exact location.

It felt like it exist, while at the same time it didn't.

Walking past the line of carts. Kent notices the several lights were busted, signs that it been deliberately destroyed.

After a while of advancing Kent finally perceived a movement at the front. He could see a silhouette of a floating woman in white dress tainted with blood levitating on the dark side closed to the dinning area.

The woman has a beautiful face but yet creepy at the same time, here eyes are blank, she's wearing in a pure white dress resembling dresses for marriage. However, the dress is tainted with blood.

Sensing Kent's presence the levitating woman let out a loud scream, the scream was loud enough to blow up an eardrum, some glass even shattered cause of the scream.

Multiple tentacles sprouted on the buildings cracks, each one of the tentacles connected on the woman's back.

Kent was affected by a paralyzing effect immobilizing him.

Luckily resisting from the mental attack, he drew an arc on the tentacles cutting them into pieces.

The woman one's again scream, but this time it's a scream of pain.

'Aren't this my lucky day, earlier a lizard man that help me to increase my attributes now a lesser blood spirit'

Lesser blood spirit is a half spiritual life form that possessed both physical and spiritual body, unlike the majority of spiritual life forms that don't get damage from physical attacks, the lesser blood spirit could be damage by physical attacks.

They possessed weak physical bodies but strong spiritual body, an imperfect existence that feed on the blood of anything that possessed life.

Feeling the pain of its tentacles getting cut down by its supposedly prey the lesser blood spirit got enrage. Two spiritual orbs appeared in both of its hands, carrying a spiritual force enough to turn a normal person into a mindless idiot by destroying a portion of their spirit.

Tentacles appeared again, the lesser blood spirit lunched the two orbs coordinating with its tentacles.

Kent's only choice is to dodge the attacks, he focused on dodging the two spiritual orbs while cutting down the tentacles.

This time unlike the previous tentacles that's purpose is to grab the enemy, the tentacles before him' job is to kill, these tentacles are far harder than the previous one, so Kent didn't carelessly attack it.

However, sorry for the Lesser Blood Spirit, Kent knew its weakness. Back when it's nothing but a game, he had died multiple times to the hand of a Lesser Blood Spirit after multiple attempts and tries Kent found about its weakness and habits.

Now the supposed predator in front trying to eat him is nothing but a naked monster.

The sharp point of the tentacles carried a poison that could erode one's blood in contact, but at the same time it's the tentacles weak spot. Kent cut down the tentacles from that spot into two.

The lesser blood spirit screamed again in pain. He ignored this loud scream urging himself to move, closing the distance between them.

The two spiritual orbs keep trying to reached Kent, but cause of the speed they had, he could easily dodge them.

Every time a tentacle is cut in two the lesser blood spirit would fall into a paralysis state for 0.5 seconds.

Because of these weaknesses Kent was able to arrived in front of the lesser blood spirit.
