Weird family.

"I am sure it was him!" The Professor was loud, his thunderous voice echoed in the room. His stiff finger pointed directly at Nicholas, who was seated before him.

"There is no need to make such conclusions, maybe there is an explanation Nicholas would like to issue" Eva said calmly.

"No, I did it" Nicholas answered simply. Eva sighed in response, she had taken enough of this same routine.

She stood from her seat, a measured poise in her manner as she negotiated, "he does that to get on your nerves Charles, I doubt he has been outside the castle walls at all!" Eva said, not knowing how wrong she had been, and how Charles knew she was wrong.

"Don't try to get him out of this one Eva! You said if he did any such thing, you wouldn't fall in my way to send him home!" His voice echoed in the room. Eva's face fell in remorse, her eyes softened to his anger and all she could do was look back at the boy who was chewing on his nails now.
