Why slap her

Amber got back after she tirelessly tried convincing Ben that she had to leave.

She had to Pack the stuff she bought .

"Leon I didn't expect to find you home I thought you'd take longer." Leon was sitted on the couch with his eyes shut and did not make any effort to look at her or answer her.

She wondered what was wrong with him 'did he loose his deal or something ' were the thoughts running through Ambers mind.

She decided to calm his down by giving him a massage she was sure he would like it.

She started massaging his shoulders and he just sat there unmoving and she figured he liked it.

"Where did you go today" he broke the silence

'why is he asking me he never asks where I go'

Amber was not sure whether to tell him the truth or not considering how he acted the last time she met up with Ben.

"I went out for shopping" that was the fastest lie she could think of .

"What did you buy" he still had his eyes closed .

"uuumh I didn't buy anything really other than ice cream" at this point her heart was beating uncontrollably and she was even wondering whether he could hear it.

He got off the couch and walked up to her that was standing at the back of the couch .He stood so close that he was towering over her.

"You really have the audacity to lie to me straight to my face" Amber could feel the anger coming off of him.

"Ok I'm sorry I just didn't know how you would react" she looked at him and did not like the look on his face so she thought she needed to explain herself.

"I met up with Ben ...but I just needed to tell him goodbye since we are leaving"

"Did you know that he is Benson Martin "

"Yes he told me "

"So you finally tasted the rich man's life and you're now securing a spot by getting together with him huuh" She looked at him shocked to her core .

"Leon... why would you say such a thing he's just my friend and he was the one who came up to me and anyway why does it bother you so much we are just in a contractual relationship I can meet up with other men if I...."

Time seemed to have stopped .They both stared at each other seemingly shocked .Amber held her cheek that was now completely red , she could not believe that he would slap her

Leon on the other hand could not believe he did that , he did not mean to slap her he just could not take her saying they just had a contractual relationship and taking the side of another man.

"Leon..you slapped me..." her voice cracked at the end and she could not help the tears that fell from her eyes. She did not understand what was wrong with him why would he slap her when she told him why that happened.

He did not say a word to her and just stood there staring unblinking at her.

She ran to her room and dropped herself to the floor immediately she closed the door .She let her tears drop and she could not stop herself.

No man had ever touched her not even her late father , and now her supposed boyfriend hit her for no valid reason .

She just wanted out ... she didn't want to do it anymore but her mother was still in the hospital or wherever Leon has put her.

Leon still stood at the same place . He just slapped her out of impulse and he really did not mean to do it .

He had swore never to touch a woman since he thought that was low and now he just slapped the one woman that he really cares about him genuinely and not because of his money .How will he fix this, he thought of running after her but his pride wouldn't let him.
