Puppies and parents. [Month 3 Day 25]

Crouching down next to them I give them some head pats whilst they take care of the puppies.

Me: "They're so cute and fluffy."

Whilst I'm scratching behind their heads Rex picks up one of the puppies and drops it on me.

I'm assuming that means I'm allowed to touch them.

Picking it up I get to feel how soft and fluffy it is as it curls up in my hand.

Me: "You're so cute."

It looks up at me with its small face and its small nose and eyes that can barely open.

[Race: Falrin Pup, Sex: Male, Ranke: None]

A new species of wolf born from Mandarin and Falmer parents. With two powerful parents, time will have to tell what these creatures will grow up into.

Puppies are the best. Not only are they adorable but they are even a new species. I'm guessing that this happened due to their mother being from an Elder Madrin as she originally had a special mutation.

Must have carried onto her kids giving rise to new species.

Also, I'm a grandfather. Awesome. I just realised that I have already created a new sort of family in this world. And this does put a smile on my face.

Looking around the other puppies I can see that some of them are different in terms of size.

[Race: Wolf Pup, Sex: Male, Rank: None]

A baby pup just starting its journey in life trying to find its way in life. Like everything in life, they start weak but have the potential to go into something strong.

[Race: Falmer Pup, Sex: Female, Rank: None]

Much the same as their fellow Wolf Pup they must also start somewhere. Luck for them is they have already gotten an extra foothold in life. Such is the way it goes sometimes.

Interesting some of the pups have started with different races. Some new, some normal wolves and some more advanced race. Interesting that I don't see any Madrin pups. Guess that the special mutation does not carry just by itself. Sadly, I know nothing about biology to understand this and so before confusing myself I shall leave it there.

Also, stop talking to your brain.

I can do what I want. Ha.

Anyway, back to puppies.

With Freya having a successful birth it would probably be a good idea to get home and rest.

Before leaving Ila to give Freya a Taron cube to heal her. Freya is not quite strong enough to walk yet so I carry her on my back whilst Rex being a good dad carries all the puppies on his back.

His fluffy grows stronger with mass as it expands. So much power. Getting distracted again.

Once at home I put Rex and Freya in one of the spare rooms in the house. It was originally their room but most of the time they would sleep on my bed but now they have the puppies they need to use it.

It's just a normal bedroom except that the bed is gone, and the bedding is just placed on the ground and made larger so that they can rest on it.

Freya is still quite tired, so she just rests for the day with her puppies whilst Rex looks after her.

With that Freya is looked after and I can get back to some work. Theirs a quiet one for the currency but I kind of overlooked it.

So, head for the core and update the symbols on it.

I'm adding the ability of contracts. With this, someone should be able to set up a system of payment of any type for example Ila want to pay one of her helpers in her health hut. She can set up a contract with herself and the helper so that the helper gets paid at the end of the month for however much Ila decides.

It is quite simple to make and only take me about an hour to get right. I then use the system for updating the artefact. What it does is it just keeps the using the system before the update until at a time that I set it updates and use the new system. With something so small it will practically be instant but just to be safe I set the time to during the night when no one should be using the system.

That was the first thing which was very easy now is the second thing which is more difficult.

Getting new people their cards. With so few people in the village, it works that people can just come to me to get their cards and such. It's annoying to answer people's questions but I can deal with it. But the problem comes when we get larger in number. I can't be responsible to be deal with all those people and such.

This is where I think the idea of a merchant's guild will work perfectly. I'm thinking of making them a sort of bank/ trading place.

It's going to be owned by our government of sorts but will still partial act independent from us. It's more like we give them permission to do these things under our guidance making sure they do it correctly

They will give new cards, help people with them, they will be a meeting/ gathered for a trader in our nation and to find jobs of sorts. It can also be a hub for random people to sell things so say a random person is selling say meat they can post it there and a trader might come along and say that they would like to have some. In the future, this will have to be regulated so that people don't get scammed but with it being locally we are safe for now.

It's just another way to help people and to get money flowing around.

My best bet to get it started is for first every village to have cards, then gather all the traders of the villages and have a meeting with them to set it up. Then we can go from there. Alright sounds good to me.
