Chapter 67

After talking to Darby, Nick hung up and slipped out of his clothes and into bed. Staring up at the ceiling, memories filled his mind of the first time he met her, the yoga studio, the ballet class, her little giggles the day at the gym, and how sexy she looked at the party. Sam's silly banter filled his mind making him laugh inside. She was so sassy and funny when she finally relaxed. He loved how she laughed, how shy and vulnerable she was at times. At other times she was confident and tried to prove how strong she was. 

"Shit. I'm falling in love with her." Nick confessed to himself. "I broke my own stupid rules I guess. I fell for this little fireball, and I don't even know how she feels about me."

Nick covered his face with the pillow trying to block out the thought.
