Chapter 83

Later that day they made their way to the venue so Nick could get in a little practice time before the title match that night. He was going to work on the ring with his trainer from the gym back home, Kurt, to get a feel for being back in the ring. Later he would go up against the toughest fighter in the league, Russian fighter, Stas Jovovich. 

"Hey Kurt, this is my girlfriend, Samantha."

Kurt shook her hand, "You're the pro trainer, right? I saw one of your fights when you were in the MMA. A friend showed me your video from a once and I was an instant fan."

"You know my from my rookie fights?" Sam asked. 

"Oh, sure I expected you to go pro. Nick, do you know this girl is good? You are our new Ashford Sports trainer too, right?"

"Yes. I start next week." Sam rocked back and forth on her heals excited. "I can't believe you remember my old fights. That's so cool."
