Chapter 142

"Violet, is that a pregnancy test?"

She just shook her head yes as he kneeled down next to her, taking the test from her. 

"Positive. I knew it." He got up, helping her to her feet, noting, "I thought you couldn't get pregnant."

"I'm sorry. I didn't know. Brody, I didn't mean for this to happen. Please don't leave me." She tried to hold back tears, but all the tension boiled over and she hysterically started weeping. 

He reached over and wiped the tears away and smiled a huge grin. "I told you I was going to put a baby in you," he teased.     

"Brody, this is serious. I don't know how this happened," Violet said, looking at the test, still in shock. 

"Well, when a mommy and a daddy love each other the--" He started to unbutton his pants joking.

"I know how. It's just… I thought I couldn't. The doctors told me I would never have a baby." She looked at him for comfort. "What are we going to do?"
