"Michael, I have more reason to worry than just myself," she finally admitted. "There's something you should know, and you may hate me for this."

He just sat eating. Noticing her change in tone, he looked up from his plate. 

"Michael, I need to confess something to you. The real reason I stopped talking to you if complicated. Only Dorian, Cyrus, and his wife Mia know. Promise if I tell you this, you won't freak out on me and start yelling. Also, you can't tell anyone." 

"Okay. I promise, but the sounds of it, I'm not going to like it." 

"Michael… Oaky... I'll... just out with it." Chloe looked seriously into Michael's eyes. "I have a son. Michael, you would love him. He's so smart and funny and—" 

Michael's eyes got wide. "A son?" He interrupted calmly.
