Chapter 186

"I want my Momma, nanny Beth. Where's Daddy?" The boy's little lip quivered with tears in his light brown eyes. 

"Your daddy went to get her. You will stay with me, Aunt Zara, Samantha, and Grace until they get back. They will be home soon, all safe and sound." Beth hugged the little boy as she put him to bed. Shutting off the light and whispered to herself. "At least I hope so." 

Heading back into the living room of the safe house, she nodded to the other FBI agent who was standing at the window. 

She went to grab coffee in the kitchen. "Hey, you two ladies still up?"

Grace rubbed her eyes. "It's hard to sleep hearing that poor baby crying. Not to mention worried about our family too."

"Beth, what's the chances of the FBI team getting there before our husbands? They could be killed doing this." Zara, Michael's wife, had fear written all over her face.
