Abriella's days returned to normal, she returned to work with her former boss who was still waiting for her to this day. Busyness again hit her who always worked hard regardless of how much she got from the job. She also felt that everything was back to normal, without any disturbing dreams, and without any thoughts of David's tragedy.
And maybe it was all the result of the therapy she was running and the drugs that the doctor gave her. Slowly, Abriella forgot about her dream about David and how David had spoken to her in his dream.
Until one day, when Abriella was doing her work in the office with sheets of reports and submissions, she who felt thirsty walked towards the dispenser which was next to the large cupboard beside the exit from her office.
"You're going to work late today, Abriella?" A question sounded in Abriella's ears, making her turn to a man wearing a blue suit with brown Derby shoes. An expensive watch was perched on the man's right wrist which could be seen clearly because he had rolled up the sleeves of his coat and shirt.
Abriella smiled at the man who was an accountant at the company. "Oh, you came today? Is there an assignment to audit the finances this month?" Abriella asked the man who then walked over to her while nodding with a smile on his face.
"Yeah… Albert won't give me an exception, will he? After all, if I don't finish this financial report, then who will?" Said the man who looked as if he was boasting, but Abriella didn't see it that way. Because in fact, the company owned by his boss always relies on the man to hold on to his financial statements, even from the smallest things.
"You're right, he won't let you stay quiet even for one day!" Abriella replied with a smile and looked at her glass which was already full of mineral water. The man who was also smiling now noticed how Abriella was currently closing her glass and leading him to the woman's desk.
"How are you? The last time we met was last month, right? I also heard you were replaced by someone else. Are you okay now?" The man asked curiously at Abriella who was now looking at him with raised eyebrows.
Abriella nodded her head slowly, glanced to the left as she replied, "Yeah… I'm feeling better now, Brian. Thank you for asking and worrying about me." Abriella replied.
The man cleared his throat and nodded slowly while rubbing the back of his neck, he took a deep breath before saying something he wanted to say to Abriella. It had been a long time since he had planned to ask her out on a date, but he never dared because Abriella was a typical woman who was difficult for him, even though it wasn't really like that.
And Brian thought that now was the right time for him, so he made up his mind and said, "Abriella..." He called first to the woman who was now leaning on her chair and playing with her cellphone. Abriella turned to look at Brian who was still standing in front of her, which made her quickly adjust her seat.
"Oh, Brian... You're still here?! I thought you were gone." Abriella said to Brian who looked disappointed and chose to remain silent, looking at Abriella with a disappointed look. But when a question came out of Abriella's mouth to him, Brian quickly expressed his intention.
"What's the matter, Brian?" That was the question Abriella asked her.
"Mm… Would you like to go on a date with me this weekend, Ella?"
Abriella was silent when she heard the invitation. It was the first time in years that she hadn't dated anyone, and no one had asked her out.
Abriella was so surprised that she forgot to answer the invitation. And when someone came calling Brian to enter their superior's room, then Abriella realized and immediately got up from her seat. Leaning forward so she could call out to Brian loudly.
"Brian!" She called out to the man who then stopped in his tracks and turned to Abriella before he entered the room.
"Okay!" That was the answer Abriella gave to Brian which finally made the man smile and nodded slowly, before finally stepping back into Mr. Albert's room.
Abriella sat back down and leaned back in her chair, she smiled happily and bit her lower lip when she found out that she would be dating someone who could be said to be handsome, kind, and well-established.
The day was getting dark. Abriella, who was planning to work overtime, was still busy with the paperwork she had to do. Several empty packages of food were neatly tucked away on his desk, as well as several empty juice cans that she had bought beside the packages. Abriella really can't go anywhere even to buy food, so she orders it online and eats it while doing her work.
While she was working on several documents for applying for cooperation with other companies, Abriella, who was typing on her computer and entering some data, suddenly felt a pain in her head.
Abriella stopped her activities staring at her computer screen and took her glass which turned out to be empty. Abriella took a deep breath and stood up slowly from her seat to walk towards the dispenser.
Even with a headache, she still tried to get a drink of water that might make her feel better. But before she made it to the dispenser, she suddenly lost consciousness. His entire vision was blurry and dark, all she could feel right now was his body plunging onto the floor.
Abriella opened her eyes and realized that she was not currently in her office. She was lying on a sofa in a magnificent room with large glass windows. Abriella also frowned as she felt familiar with her current existence. She got up from his sleep and no longer felt the pain in his head like before.
"Finally you came again!" A voice that Abriella could hear, made Abriella turn her head back and look at a man in a black shirt rolled up at his elbows. The man was holding a cup of warm coffee whose smoke was still billowing upwards, he sat on a work desk, looking at Abriella with his sharp eyes, but with a gentle smile at Abriella.
