Honesty

Like what Brian had said to Abriella earlier. He waited until three of Abriella's friends came to the apartment and met her.

"Oh... Hello, I'm Melinda! The one you were talking to!" Melinda said to Brian who opened the door for her and her two friends. Jane and Natasha, who stood behind Melinda, only smiled at the man who was now nodding and smiling at the three of them.

"Ah… I'm Brian! I'm sorry I called you guys and asked you to come here and accompany Abriella!" Brian said very formally as if the three women were Abriella's distant friends.

Melinda who heard it chuckled softly, as well as Jane and Natasha who were standing behind her. "There's no need to talk like that, Brian! We're close friends with Abriella, so this shouldn't bother us!" Said Melinda who answered Brian's words.

The man nodded and opened the door of Abriella's apartment wide, allowing the three women to go inside and walk together towards the sofa in the living room of the apartment.

Jane glanced to the right and left to find the whereabouts of the apartment owner and friend, and Brian who saw that the woman was looking for Abriella immediately told him. "Abriella is in her room, I just told her to change into something warmer..." Brian explained to Jane who now turned to him and nodded with a smile on her face. Jane went to Abriella's room to accompany her friend, while Melinda and Natasha were still silent in the room with Brian.

"So… What exactly happened that you asked us to accompany Abriella at this time? Is he feeling anxious again?" Natasha asked Brian who was currently pouring a cup of hot chocolate for the two women. Because before that the man-made a pot of warm chocolate so that Abriella's friends would feel comfortable when they arrived at Abriella's apartment.

Brian handed the cups to the two women and sat across from them, exhaling slowly before finally explaining what had happened, which he hadn't explained before. Brian was worried that if he explained over the phone, Abriella's friends would panic and leave in a hurry. Which might make them experience bad things because they are not careful on the road, such as accidents. Brian didn't want that to happen, so he chose to explain it directly like this.

"I know, this may sound absurd! But I witnessed it firsthand, and ask you to pay attention to it today. Remembering yesterday he fainted in his office." Natasha and Melinda looked at each other when they heard Brian's words just now, both nodded and tried to listen to Brian's further explanation.

"Abriella suddenly stopped breathing and fell unconscious thirty minutes ago!" Brian explained to the two women who now looked surprised to hear this.

"So, you mean... Just now, Abriella fainted with lost breath?" Melinda narrowed her eyes and questioned the meaning of what Brian had just explained to her. The man nodded his head and turned to Natasha who was silent in his place with his eyes wide.

"Abriella refuses to go to the doctor... So I thought maybe you could persuade her to go to the hospital, and see a doctor." Brian was back, putting hope in Natasha and Melinda if they could persuade Abriella to check herself into the hospital.

"We'll persuade and bring him there, you don't have to worry, Brian!" Natasha finally spoke up and calmed Brian down, after he assured them that they would take Abriella to the hospital.

Brian felt happy and calm when he heard the answer from Natasha and chose to stand up from his seat, bidding farewell to both of them to go home.

"Then, I guess I'll go home and rest! Please tell me the progress, Melinda!" Said Brian who turned to Melinda and said that he would wait for the woman's report.

Melinda nodded and walked hand in hand with Brian towards the apartment door. "Calm down Brian! I will report everything to you." Melinda answered who opened the apartment door. Brian nodded and stepped out, waving to both of them.

Melinda and Natasha didn't just walk out the door, they both made sure that Brian got into the elevator and wouldn't come back. Melinda quickly closed the door and turned to Natasha who was also looking at her.

"Come on!" Melinda said to Natasha who nodded faintly and walked with her briskly towards Abriella's room, the door was still closed.

"Abriella!" Natasha called the woman when they had entered Abriella's room without knocking or greeting the owner of the room.

Abriella and Jane, who are currently staring at Abriella's cellphone screen, immediately turned to the door and greeted them slowly.

"What the hell it is all about?" Jane asked two of her friends who came and suddenly reprimanded Abriella with a rather loud rebuke. Melinda and Natasha did not respond to Jane's question and just stared at Abriella who was now sitting beside Abriella.

"Tell us, Ella… What happened to you? And why are you refusing to go to the hospital, when you are already in such a bad condition, worrying the three of us!" Said Natasha who was now speaking with a rising tone of speech. But both Abriella and Jane knew that it wasn't an expression of irritation or anger, but a word of concern.

Abriella was starting to get cornered, she turned to Jane who was also curious about what happened to Abriella. Because when Jane entered Abriella's room earlier, she saw that the woman was standing in a cupboard in her room and was lost in her thoughts so that Jane's arrival was not noticed by her.

"Alright, I'll tell you everything! But I beg you, listen first... Only then can you judge me for this. Okay?" Abriella said to her three friends who now could only smile faintly and nodded their heads.

Jane chose to take a chair and sit on it. Meanwhile, Melinda could only stand up straight and listen to what Abriella would explain to her.

Abriella inhaled as much air as she could and exhaled slowly, preparing herself to share what she's been going through lately that's been troubling her life and changing how she judged David Wagner.

"It all started when we witnessed David's suicide at that time..."
