That afternoon Abriella was sitting in a chair facing the outside window. She looked outside to see several servants who were busy mowing the grass and tending plants in David's garden. Abriella knew that Kristof had come this morning and was currently having a serious conversation with David in the living room.
Abriella wanted to know what they were talking about, but she chose not to interfere because she knew it was none of her business.
"Next, should I go with David to Brooklyn?" Abriella muttered to herself. She wanted to go to Brooklyn and be closer to David. But it wasn't because she didn't feel at home in this house or because she didn't want to be away from David. It was all because she wanted to find out and quickly find out who was behind all of that.
Abriella felt even more rushed because David's time of death was only two months away. Which meant she only had sixty days to solve the puzzle. And so far, she hasn't gotten anything meaningful.
