84) village girl

I was born not long ago in a very biiiiig home, which was a cave. My mother was a very biiig and beautiful fox, I know all this because I am not really a fox. Well at list not anymore that is. I was a village girl that was reborn as a fox.

-------

I lived in a very small village, in one of the southern continents, my village was not very small and also not very big either, it was a very good village with lots of kind and loving people. I did not have a family, according to the sister who takes care of me and other children in the village, my parents died on an adventure when I was just one year old.

I lived a very peaceful and loving life in the village were, I would occasionally go into the village to play with other kids. But what I liked doing most was reading books. The books had many good stories. Some of them talked about how great heroes saved beautiful princesses, some talked about how normal people became great wizards.

I loved hearing those kinds of stories that is why I forced the village book lady to teach me how to read or I won't give her my bread. When I said that she laughed at me, which made me very angry, so I ran out of her place crying and went to report her to my caretaker sister. She was a church sister, that what everyone calls her.

She told me that I can't force people to do what I want or earls I well seen as a bad girl, and I don't want to be seen as a bad girls so the next day I went back to the book lady and said sorry and gave her half of my bread.

She laughed at me again and this time I was very confused, did I do somethingwrongagain, am I going to become a bad girl again. Just as I was about to saysorry to her again she put her hands on my head and said thank you to me. This made me veeeerrryhappy end I gave her a big smile like my church sister always does to everyone.

After that, she stated teaching me how to read, for some reason it was very easy to understand it and before long I stated reading by myself. some of the books that I read I don't understand then very well so I just decided to do my best and remember then and I was very surprised to find out that I could remembereverything I have read very clearly, she even ones complimented me of being the smartest 6 year old she has every seen.

I was very happy as I was going home that evening, and I had a lot of fun playing with my village friends, so when I got home back to the orphanage that I live in I went right to sleep only to wake up in the night with the sound of people screaming.
