"ROARR!!!" A monstrous roar escaped Jay's mouth as he wailed in agony! He darted out of bed and sent a ||Cleave|| imbued with his fire affinity towards the entrance of the room!
BOOOOM!
A massive explosion rippled out as the entire room blew into fine dust!
With a bloody cheek Jay looked around warily, looking for the 'intruder'. His ruby red irises flashed with a ruthless glint as he swept his gaze across the now ruined room!
He saw Tora in the distance gazing at him in shock! He caught a glimpse of her claws and saw a thick golden liquid smeared all over it!
It was precisely his blood! Jay looked at Tora and approached with heavy footsteps.
Miku was woken up by both Tora's and Jay's yelling. She blinked her eyes several times in shock before gazing at her father.
"Wow… Daddy, was there an intruder?" Her sweet and childish voice calmed down the burning fury inside of Jay's heart.
With a deep and long sigh he turned around and walked towards Miku.
"Haha! Yeah there was but don't worry! Daddy made sure to kill them." Jay's gentle voice sort of relieved Tora.
She sighed with emotion before stepping forward to apologize.
But before she could even speak, Miku's concerned voice rang out loud and clearly as she exclaimed, "D-Dad!!! You're injured!!!" Miku started tearing up, noticing her father's injury.
Tora instantly felt a heavy guilt weigh down on her heart.
Jay smiled warmly while comforting her. He soon turned towards the guilty Tora and smiled gently as well.
"No need to apologize Tora, I forgive you. Besides, being able to do what you just did was incredible! As expected of my wife!"
Tora was stupefied! She blushed hearing the words 'My wife' before quickly turning away and stepping towards the frightened bunny girl, paying for the damages.
"She didn't insult me? Is it possibly because I got into her heart? If so, mission success!"
"Allowing her to bitch claw the crap outta me was definitely worth it!" Jay laughed victoriously.
Wait, you thought a mere 5th realm expert of the Earth Realm could actually surprise attack Jay?
Dont forget that Jay is actually at the 7th rank of the Earth Realm!
What he did was simply called acting! Though he was hesitant to do any real damage but he had recalled the pouch around Tora's neck.
Even if she didn't have enough money it didn't really matter as well.
Why? Because Jay was about to get the hell out of here the moment the money came up short!
Luckily, Tora had more than enough and managed to repay for the damages caused by Jay.
Jay, Miku and Tora quickly left the Monster Inn. Countless monsters and Demi-Humans gazed at their backs with eyes filled with fear.
"H-hey Abaddon, are you serious about making me your wife?" Tora's sudden question slightly startled Jay but he laughed victoriously inside!
"Of course Tora. Did you think that I was actually joking?" Hearing Jay's reply Tora's face instantly flushed as red as a cherry as she hesitantly nodded to Jay's question.
Jay was about to say something when suddenly Miku broke the silence with a loud 'Yay' before happily saying, "Dad and Big Sis are in love! Will Miku have brothers and sisters soon?!"
Jay's eyelids widened immensely as he stared at the cute little 'devil', Miku! He had a slight blush whereas Tora's entire snow white face was as red as blood!
Jay immediately took advantage of the situation and slyly said, "Oh but of course my dear daughter! Given time, you'll have lots of siblings soon!"
Tora immediately turned her gaze to Jay! Noticing his evil smile she couldn't help but pout slightly while she muttered to him, "Shameless bastard!"
"Oh? Oh? These insults are heart-OW!!" Jay couldn't even finish his sentence as Tora's claws sank into his side!
She gave him a sweet smile before asking with heavy affection, "You were saying?"
Although she sounded sweet and kind, her aura said otherwise. Jay used this moment to read her soul. She really placed a lot of her affection into that expression.
At this point, Jay had developed feelings for Tora but it wasn't to the point of marrying.
But you might be wondering, why did Jay tell her that he would marry her when he doesn't even have such intentions yet?
Jay had already planned everything out. He only said those things to imprint himself deeply within her heart.
He wanted to know her better though, he also wanted to see if she was good to Miku as well.
If everything went well then marriage could be considered but for now? That's way ahead of the current 'them'!
Like so, Jay, Tora and Miku went for a long stroll around the entire city.
Jay and Tora grew closer by the second as they kept on exchanging words and starting awkward and even thrilling conversations.
Occasionally they would stop and purchase snacks for Miku.
It was already noon and the setting sun casted multiple shadows over the usually bright areas.
Lurking in the shadows was a figure that constantly eyed Jay.
He felt this presence every now and then but just decided to ignore it.
However when Jay thought that it would soon die down and become restless it was actually the opposite instead.
He was getting annoyed by every passing second!
He abruptly stopped in his tracks, instantly gaining the curious gazes of both Miku and Tora.
They were about to inquire about the situation when Jay suddenly blocked them off with a loud shout.
"Whoever it is! GET OUT HERE NOW!!" Jay's fury boiled and soon it erupted like a massive volcano!
The leaves rustled and the birds chirped, yet that was all.
Miku and Tora grew concerned. Miku jumped onto Tora's back as Tora took a battle stance.
Jay also went into a battle stance. His four paws slightly shifted as arcs of thick lightning encircled his feet!
Swoosh!
Jay was like a black blur of light as his figure instantaneously flickered away!
He appeared near a valley of trees and viciously stomped onto the ground with his mighty paws!
The earth trembled as a ring of fire encircled the valley of trees!
Within mere moments the trees were all set ablaze as a mighty blood red pillar of flames shot out of the ground, piercing towards the now starry sky!
Purgatory Flame!!!
The entire distance of 12 km was instantly illuminated with the blood red light while almost simultaneously a white blur of light shot out from the pillar of flames!
Swoosh!
"Hah...hah…. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING BASTARD?!" A voice filled with rage and frustration bellowed out from the side of Jay!
Jay's eyes widened madly! "So fast?!" The current monster who looked as though he would die of exhaustion at any given minute was a giant SaberTooth Tiger!
Tora and Miku glanced warily at the monster before glancing back at Jay. Their expression told Jay one thing and to that he nodded. "This man was definitely pretending!"
Jay looked at him and squinted his eyes as he said, "You don't need to pretend to be tired. We all know that you're full of energy!"
The SaberTooth Tiger raised his head, eyes layered with a slight shock, he gave Jay a light smile.
"As expected of the man who took out the entire Crimson Wolf pack!" He stared at Jay deeply before glancing at Tora and Miku.
"How do you know that I'm the one that did it?" He inquired. Jay was surprised that this man actually knew who he was.
The SaberTooth Tiger turned his gaze back to Jay and said, "Who in Steel-Fist City doesn't know of you?"
Jay sighed and his gaze regained some of it's previous coldness before asking "What do you want from me?"
He didn't mind Jay's cold gaze. He replied saying, "Relax, I'm here on behalf of the City Lord."
"He wishes to recruit you into our City's Monster Army! Although you will be placed as a common soldier you will be treated the best among the people of your same rank!"
When they heard this they all felt as though they were hit by a giant bolt of lightning!
Especially Tora! She glanced at Jay with admiration.
One should know that being able to fight in the upcoming war even as the lowest rank, is the greatest honour a member of the Steel-Fist City could have!
However when everyone expected Jay to accept he declined! "Sorry man, I don't have time to fight in wars now."
The SaberTooth Tiger was stunned by this answer! He looked at Jay with a complicated expression. "Are you sure?" He asked, very curious to see if Jay would decline again.
Jay was about to tell him to piss off when suddenly Helix spoke to him!
[Sir, don't forget about your bet with your brothers! If you wish to spread your name, what better way is there other than the battlefield?]
[Also, training isn't a problem as you will undoubtedly make massive improvements in the upcoming war! So please accept this war invitation and all future ones as well]
Hearing Helix's words he was struck with a certain realization! "Damn! You're right Helix!" He scolded himself inwardly for almost giving up the perfect opportunity!
"Wait, I accept! I just remembered I have some debts to repay." Jay told a shameless lie as a way to cover up his embarrassment.
The SaberTooth Tiger smiled widely revealing a full set of teeth!
"Good choice! Report to the Steel-Fist Monster Army Camp tomorrow as early as possible!"
His tone held excitement and pride as he was proud of himself for convincing Jay.
Jay wanted to know his name but found that this guy was kinda weird so he immediately broke the conversation and took Miku and Tora to a different Inn.
This time Tora allowed Jay to share a bed with her and soon Miku fell asleep between the two monsters.
"I hope the bros are also gaining opportunities."
