Ch7:The Outburst Of  Dormant Emotions

Vastav didn't even have a single obstacle which will come in his way of professional career…he thought so. But dinner that night was a Red Circle predestined by destiny. "Khuri", the Assamese people addresses aunt as so. "Why did you prefer to name your P.G. as SharadaVimala"… Vastav spoke in a gentle tone. In his mind, he prayed to the Unknown for getting an answer which will not lead him astray. "I heard that several others left my room in a week or two before I came here.

If you don't mind, I want to have a personal talk with you, Khuri".The lady responded and took Vastav to their guest room. "See Vastav, I have noticed you from the very day you came here. You are from a family rich in moral values. Don't take the risk of falling prey to the world which generally boys of your age like to embrace". "No Khuri, I thought you would understand, I was not drunk that day. I am totally alright, the highest scorer in all my exams, efficient trainer… my higher officials says so…" Silence showered its dominance in the guest room for a couple of minutes.

"I think, you need the help of a Psychiatrist"… the lady broke the conversation in between. Vastav left the room with the unfinished conversation. But he will not remain calm until he gets a solution to the unsolved riddle. For the first time in his life, this boy of concrete moral values thought of a plan, which will work for sure but make him work out the plan in a way hurting his principles. Vastav's intramural fickle mind was unnoticed by the mass and parallely he kept a perfect balance in his professionalism. But his scientific temper didn't want to believe that there can exist something beyond science.

No question remains unanswered, one one have to be in the perfect way, even if the way us not perfect, strong will demands fulfilment as its dominance. Vastav is a tough guy, the out of body experience didn't made him weak, but the thought that this can't be shared makes him weak.

One evening, when Vastav returned from work, he saw the owner's car missing and the enchantress who invited him for the dinner was having a stroll in the garden. He realized that everyone has gone out and it's a golden chance to get an answer to his questions.

The lady gave a smile and Vastav responded reluctantly. "Bou...myself Vastav". "The boy who slammed the door at my face?" she responded with a neglecting smile. Vastav became serious and his face turned pale. "I didn't mean it, in fact I like to remain isolated. "So, what made you talk with me today" "Bou, what is missing in my room...I feel there is nothing in life. I had a close look at myself....a very close look you can't ever imagine. The lady listened patiently which Vastav never thought of. He realised that he blew the long-burning charcoal which now blazed.

"Sorry Bou, my scientific mentality took me very far away from human emotions .I totally mistook you. I never talked with girls though I have an elder sister at home". "Don't feel sorry, take a lesson, in fact my beauty is my curse and my attitude...

Sharada was the first wife of my husband. She hanged herself when I stood as an obstacle in their happy life. After her death, Manas took to drinking and there is no life on this house now". Vastav listened and at every moment cursed himself for his wrong view about girls or taking the innocent lady in front of him the other way.

He forgot what he was searching for unaware of that the out of body issue was just the beginning of his spiritual journey. "Vastav, would you mind if I tell you something." "No Bou, you speak exactly like my sister. The lady started…" Girls of my community are thought to be very curious about what other people do now and then and I am of no exception. After Sharada's death, my mother in law hated me like anything and Manas, on whose faith I came here became the victim of drugs, liquor and everything which can take him away from this world".Vastav thought she would break down and cry.

But he was wrong. She was much bold and strong than he ever thought of. He preferred to remain silent. "A week before you came here, your friend Ekalavya came to enquire whether our P. G. was vacant ." "How do you know". "See Vastav, a lady like me who have all the pleasure and comfort in life but nothing to except cursing herself can only positive phase of life by looking at the dreams of energetic youths like you. Encourage your indomitable potential towards the materialization of your dreams.

I saw Ekalavya with bottles of wine on the very night of your arrival. I too heard your shouting when the rest of the world was asleep. Stay away from the world of illusions!! Stay away from those which creates it!! Illusion ruined Manas, I don't want you to be another victim of MAYA...the ultimate illusion. The world awaits for you. May Goddess Durga  bless you."

The sudden blow if the horn made the beautiful lady startled and she immediately ran upstairs shouting "Keep in mind,I don't  want another Manas…"

Her hypnotic words startled Vastav. He thought her to be a petty worm but she proved herself to be a python.

Manas and his mother got down from the car. "Where have you been Khuri". "We had an appointment with Dr. Sammohak. As they walked in, Vastav noticed Manas' incompetency as a son, as a husband and as a lover.
