"Mom, Will Maraiah still forgive me?" I asked her but she didn't response at all, I bet she's mad with what I just did too.
"Mom," I called again but she keep on ignoring me.
It's been a year ever since we became friends and this is the first time that she acted that way towards me. I cannot help but blame myself since this is her first time seeing me being mad in front of my family.
"Josaiah," Grandma called as she look at the window and it starts to rain.
"I'm sorry grandma for causing such troubles." I said, She smiled at me and just stare at the heavy rain.
"When we got attack, I never thought about being alive or being afraid about such thing like death." She said as she take a sip from her coffee.
"I just thought about the happy things that I spent in my life as I embrace death." She added.
"Don't you want to live more years and spend it with us?" I asked as she smiled sadly. "Josaiah I'm already ninety years old, I am already prepared what will happen next but as for you, You need to cherish people more than you could ever think about." she said.
"When those people are gone you cannot do anything about it." She added as I run to my room and get my jacket as I immediately went to Maraiah's mansion.
"What do you think your doing here?" Her brother asked.
"I came here to talk to Maraiah," I answered as Maraiah went downstairs and immediately stop when she saw me.
"Maraiah," I called.
"Do you need something?" She asked as her maids offer her a food to taste for her recommendation. I knew that since she keeps on blurting about how many sweets should she eat for her to recommend if its good or not.
"I came here to talk," I said.
"Okay," She answered and told the maids to prepare a food for us as she guide me to their pool area. I know that the triplets are shooting death glares at me as I can saw them in the window.
"Lets get to the business, What do you want to talk about?" she asked as my fist clenched.
"I want to talk about us," I said.
"What?" She asked as she look confused about what I just said.
"I thought about you know, About us." I said as she smiled.
"If your talking about that night lets just pretend that nothing happened on that day okay?" she said as she smiled at me.
"Hmm, Okay. But with the tone of your voice you seem like your not okay at all." I said as she smiled knowing that I'm being annoying.
"Nah, My voice was always been like this in the very first place." She explained.
"You can get mad at me Maraiah, You can slap the hell out of me if your mad just don't act this way towards me." I said that made her stunned and look at me.
She's looking at me intensely like she want to say a lot of words but got he tongue cut off.
"Maraiah, I'm sorry. If you want i can kneel down in front of you-" She stop me with a hug, I cannot see her face right now but I can feel how relief she is hearing that from me.
"You don't need to say anything." She said as I just held her in my arms.
"Grandma said that before I die I should cherish people around me and that made me realize how important you are to me Maraiah," I said as she look at me in the eye.
"Really?" she asked as I nodded.
"Your my bestfriend after all right?" I said and that made her lose her smile.
I didn't know what I said that made her even mad. But all I know is that were all goods now.
"By the way, What are you going to do this up coming Christmas?" I asked that made her let go of me and went back to her sit. "I don't know, I might be busy that day or go take a break to some sort of country." she said.
Well, What did I expect she's the famous Maraiah after all.
"There's something I want you to do while I'm not around." She said as I look at her. "Don't cheat on me," she said that made me laugh hard.
"Dude its not like where on a relationship." I said but she didn't laugh at all and just sigh.
"Wait, Your serious?" I asked as she look at me seriously.
"Did you just confess to me with your feelings?" I asked as she was about to answer when her Mom came and cut our topic off.
"Oh your here Josaiah," She said as she look at Maraiah waiting for her explanation why I'm here.
"His just here because we have things to talk about." Maraiah said as her Mom look at me.
What the hell am I thinking visiting her with my hoodie and pants its too unformal to face her family! your not thinking at all Josaiah!
"I'm here to tell you Maraiah that I already fix your papers to move with me in Canada." I look at Maraiah as she look at her Mom like why did she need to tell those stuff in front of me.
"Your moving away? For how many years? I mean, Its okay since we can still connect with each other through chats and calls." I said as I sound naive hoping for Maraiah to answer.
"She's staying with me for Good, I don't know about your relationship with my daughter but its better for the both of you to start acting like you don't know each other." I look at Maraiah's Mom as she smirk at us.
"Since a child's friendship would grow anytime and anywhere, Maraiah can have other friends too in Canada you don't need to worry about unfriending her." She explained as I hold Mariah's hand.
"You don't know what Maraiah had been through just to serve the Felexia and on how much she tried hard to find a real and true friend!" I said as I hold her hand tightly.
"I'm going with Maraiah!" I added.
I can see how silence is eating us as the snow start falling.
"Do what you want then," She said as I look at Maraiah blushing while looking at our hands.
"I'm sorry I went too far," I said as she smiled.
"Its okay, you did well," She said as I can see her teeth, she look happy.
