5. Signing a Contract Marriage (2)

"Our master can't be that crazy. Remember, our master is old and crippled. What can an old and crippled man do during intercourse?" Calista's heart and mind became increasingly erratic. Having sex with an old man alone is stifling her chest. Plus defects. Oh God, what kind of trial have you given me? Calista thought. Calista closed her eyes and took a deep breath. It was as if there was a large rock pressing against her chest to be removed immediately.

"What about my private life? I can't stay at home all day." Ask Calista again.

"You will have bodyguards everywhere. But, of course, you have to stop working. Because it is impossible for our boss's wife to work outside the house all day." Andrew said.

"But later my family will be suspicious of where I got the money if not by borrowing from the office? My mother will flatly refuse this agreement." Ask Calista again.

"Huh, you're a troublesome woman! Just say borrow it from a friend. You just can't find an excuse!" Answered Andrew who was getting annoyed. Unexpectedly, signing a contract with an ordinary woman can never be this tough.

"I can't! I want to keep working. At 4 pm I will make sure I get home." Calista answered while crossing his arms in front of his chest like an accomplished negotiator.

"You ...." The ringing of the phone stopped for a moment the debate between two people from different classes. "Ok, fine sir, Hmm....okay okay, yes, alright." Communication was cut off as the phone was put back on the table.

"You could work in one of Mr. Anderson's companies. His grandson happens to need a secretary to the director." Andrew replied.

Calista furrowed her brows. She looked around the corner of the living room looking for the existence of the round black object that was common in every room of a rich man's house. The man in front of him suddenly agreed to what she wanted even though the conversation was only attended by him and a man named Andrew. Calista is sure there is CCTV among them. Finally, she found it. Small tucked in the middle of the top of the figure of a village woman who is carrying a jug made of clay.

"Interesting." Answered the man at the end of the CCTV who saw the woman caught on the CCTV camera looking at her with a sharp gaze. As if directly in front of a man wearing a black suit with the good looks of a Greek god who is crazy about many women.

"Earlier you said his grandson? So, it's a family company? Hmm..." Calista answered again, finishing observing around the room. Now she feels like a convict being interrogated in a special room. While there are some people watching her from behind the opaque glass but can hear clearly.

"Yes, so your departure and work hours have been arranged. You can come home any time." Andrew replied. Tch, what kind of work is that? How is it different from an entertainer who can come and go as he pleases, Calista thought.

"How? I can't stay long. You've wasted more of my time than I thought." Andrew began to show his annoyance. Either because he was annoyed at being made to linger with this suspicious woman or annoyed because the more he saw Calista the more he remembered his sister.

"Okay, can I borrow your pen?" Ask Calista. Andrew immediately took it out of his coat pocket. Before signing the paper, Calista whispered softly, "Mom and dad, forgive this useless daughter. In the future, live well and eat well. Hope you will forgive me. Bismillah." Andrew furrowed his brows. His lips were tightly shut. He doesn't know what was on this woman's mind, willing to pawn her future for money. Finally, a beautiful signature was inscribed by Calista to accompany her sad face which indicated that a new chapter of her life had begun.

"Okay, now you can go home. There will be someone to pick you up later. You will stay here from today. As written in the contract, the marriage ceremony will take place behind closed doors. And, the marriage book will also be given after the divorce occurs. Just as evidence if you are married to Mr. Anderson.

"WHAT? Giving the marriage book on the day of the divorce? Huh, I don't understand. And, there's no need to pick me up. I don't want to arouse suspicion among all my friends at the boarding house. I'll be here alone after tidying up my things." Calista rebutted.

"Okay, it's up to you. But, this afternoon you should be here. Next week the wedding will take place. And, one more thing. You can't attend the wedding ceremony. You can't see the master's face forever." Andrew replied.

"Oh my gosh, it's so complicated! I can't even see the face of the man I'm married to?? Haaaaah, tell me the truth! Is he a human..... or.... an evil?" Investigate Calista.

Andrew's eyes widened. Between being shocked and wanting to laugh loudly, he hid behind his drooping lips while tidying up the files.

"Your imagination is amazing... unbelievably stupid!" Andrew replied. Calista flinched. Was her question wrong? Because she can't even see her husband's face when she gets married, even when having sex.

"But... I beg you, lend me 20 million at the beginning. I have to pay for my father's surgery costs which need 20 million right now." Calista's eyes suddenly softened and her face lowered sadly.

"Give me the address of the hospital and your father's name. I'll have someone pay the bills. And make sure your father gets priority care." Andrew replied.

"Really? Oh, thank you very much." Calista replied with a bright smile while putting her palms together in front of her chest. She took out a note on a piece of paper containing his father's name and hospital address and handed it to Andrew on the table.

"Now go home. Or do you want to be delivered?" Andrew asked again.

"No, no thanks. I'm going to my old office now to submit my resignation. Excuse me." Calista half bowed respectfully. Previously, she had glanced sadly at the CCTV camera which turned out to be watching her when she first entered.

Andrew went back inside and met his master in the study.

"Excuse me, sir, here is the contract file." Andrew put down the letter containing the marriage contract that Calista and himself had signed.

"What do you think. . . how's that girl?" Darren asked.

"She's . . . an ordinary girl who asks a few questions," Andrew replied revealing his experience during the interrogation earlier.

"Hahahaha, he pissed you off huh? But, she's brave enough to do that." Darren nodded as he looked at the sheet of paper in front of him.

"Make sure her bedroom is ready. And don't miss anything tomorrow, either." Darren continued.

"Ready sir! Everything has been done. It's only on the D day. Is there anything else I can do?" Andrew stood staring at his master who was crossing his left leg over the knee of his right leg while tapping the table with his index finger.

"Okay, you can go." Darren waved his hand in the wind. Andrew walked towards the door and left his young master. Who is the only grandson of The Anderson
