17. A dandy man

Darren held Calista by the neck so tightly that she couldn't turn her head back. Calista's hands squeezed Darren's shoulders just asking to loosen his hot kiss.

"Hah.... hah.... hah...." Calista's breath hitched.

Darren looked at Calista's sad face with a satisfied smile.

"Still want more?" He asked with a devilish aura.

"Aaah let me go." Calista struggled to get up from her seat. However, Darren's two hands locked onto her slender waist so the poor girl couldn't move an inch.

"I'll tell you something. First, when you are in the office, your job is only to do the work ordered by me through Andrew. You can't do any other work. Second, never talk to any male employee for more than 5 seconds. Understand?" Darren looked at Calista with an intimidating look.

Calista closed her eyes and sighed. She wanted to answer all the sentences that Darren said, but she was lazy to argue. So she just said, "Okay. Is there anything else?" Ask Calista.

"For now, there is none. You may return to your desk." Calista furrowed her brows.

"Why? Do not want to? Want to linger here?" Darren asked in a teasing tone.

"In your dreams." Calista tried to get up from her seat. But, again, unlucky, a strand of her hair caught in the buttons of Darren's coat collar.

"Duh, that's all there is to it." Calista tried to untie it but her hair ties were too tangled to tie the buttons of the perverted man's shirt.

"Help me." Seeing Darren who only glanced at it, Calista was absurdly annoyed.

"Should I cut your hair up to your neck?" Darren asked innocently.

"Hey, it's really you huh. It's all because of you." Calista was very excited because the more she tried the stronger the coils became.

Knock knock...

"Who?" Darren asked. Calista's eyes widened at the sound of a knock on the door.

"I'm Andrew, boss," Andrew said.

"Come in!" Darren answered, which was followed by a shriek of screams.

Andrew went straight in as soon as he got a reply from inside. However, his eyes widened when he saw Calista sitting on Darren's lap and Darren seemed relaxed without any protest. Calista turned her face towards the outside window behind Darren.

"You're done Calista. What a shame on your first day of work." Inner Calista.

"What is it? Very important?" Darren asked while straightening his body, making Calista almost fall backward but Darren's right hand was quick to hold her so that Calista didn't fall.

"Hmm, boss, I want to hand over the documents that must be signed right now. Boss, could you please check these first?" Andrew did not dare to look at the scene before his eyes. So, his eyes only focus on the table.

"Okay, you can go out. If someone wants to come in, you hold them outside first. We're busy, you can see right?" Darren said casually and calmly. Calista closed her eyes in extreme embarrassment.

"O-okay boss," Andrew replied as he walked back from the president's room.

"Please, help me remove this hair." Calista dared to ask for help because her legs felt cramped sitting in that position for so long.

"Woman!" Darren shifted his oversized chair and took the scissors that were in the stationery holder on the table.

"Ah don't...." KRESS! Darren grabbed Calista's hair which had been cut as long as his index finger and lifted it in the wind.

"You...." Calista held back her annoyance and got up from Darren's lap. However, her calf felt numb instantly and she fell on the carpet after she managed to escape from Darren.

"Aaahh… why did you… enjoy torturing me so much?" Calista glared at Darren with teary eyes. Calista tried to stand up and walk slowly because her legs were tingling leaving the president's room annoying to her.

Darren could only be silent watching his contract wife walk away leaving him alone in the room.

Calista sat back in the chair provided for her. Lunchtime was almost over but she hadn't eaten anything. Her stomach suddenly rumbled.

"You haven't had lunch yet, have you? Here it is. I have another piece of bread. Would you like some?" Calista raised her head and another handsome man was offering Calista the much-needed help. Looks like a piece of sandwich bread filled with meat and vegetables, which makes Calista swallow saliva.

"No thanks, I… can buy it at the cafeteria now," Calista replied turning her face away.

"If you don't want it, I'll throw it away. But it's a shame that food this good has to end up in the trash." Answered the flamboyant handsome and towering man with brown hair in a ponytail in the middle.

"Please, Don't! Hehehe, thank you." Calista smiled shyly at having rejected the previous offer.

"Hehehe, you are cute too. The new secretary huh?" The man began to ask. Before Calista could answer, suddenly she heard a voice that was lazy to hear.

"JACK! Why are you there? Come on in!" Darren clenched his jaw seeing his best friend talking intimately with Calista. In fact, none of his friends knew that Darren was married and the woman in front of him was his wife.

Calista rolled her eyes at Darren's face. The flamboyant man named Jack laughed heartily.

"It seems your boss doesn't like it when I approach his secretary. All right, you finish and just throw away the box. Okay?" said Jack.

"Thank you," Calista answered briefly while holding the lunch box containing sandwiches.

Jack gave Calista a sweet smile before leaving herself and heading for his best friend's room.

"New secretary hmm? Pretty funny too. But her clothes aren't as sexy as your previous secretary's. Hahaha..." Jack teased his best friend since college.

"My secretary isn't the kind of entertainer at your club who has to dress modestly," Darren replied.

"Yayaya.... the comfort woman you come to every night," Jack answered while sitting on one of the available sofas.

"What are you here for? Is there something important that makes you have to come to my office?" Darren asked.

"Britney came out from here right? Be careful! Even though her marriage is in trouble, don't get involved in it. You don't forget of course who her husband is." Jack leaned back and sat casually crossing his right leg over his left.

"I know. But, I don't know how to get her to not come here. She always suddenly appears in my room." Darren answered.

"Try to have a relationship with a woman. Maybe that will keep her away from you," said Jack.

"Huh, you certainly didn't forget either did you? The last woman you introduced me to has only been in the ER for half a day because of a car accident… which was intentional and we know who did it." Darren answered as he threw the pen he was playing with on the table.

"Tsk, it's hard too. She's too obsessed with you. Have you talked to her nicely to stay away from you?" asked Jack again.

"Many times. And she pretended not to hear." Darren answered.

"Then you just ignore her when she comes. Don't be welcomed and don't be served. Then she'll be tired." said Jack.
