"I will work hard and pay off our family's debts. I DON'T WANT TO MARRY!" Agnes screamed hysterically and ran into her room. Papa and mama don't want to force their will, but their lives are in the hands of their daughter.

However, in the end, Agnes' determination to refuse the forced marriage melted away. Her mother was seriously ill at home but could not get treatment from the hospital. Meanwhile, her father almost killed himself by slicing his wrist thinking about the economic crisis in his family. Luckily, his father's life was saved by being taken to the hospital.

Agnes surrendered and cried every night. She still wasn't willing to put her life into the hands of a man who was more mature than her, plus the man was famous for his cruelty to all his business rivals. Agnes didn't know the man's face yet and she didn't want to know either.
