69. After Twenty Three years

"Where else are you going, huh? From this moment on, you're back to being Donni Rickman's wife!" Donni held Agnes' chin and tightly gripped her cheeks which did not diminish in beauty, even more, alluring at the age of forty.

"In your dreams! I will never want to be your woman, let alone your wife again." Agnes kicked Donni's stomach with her free knee. Donni, who was off guard, ducked against the pain in his stomach and received a sudden attack. Agnes immediately ran up to the second floor and entered her room, locked it from the inside, and propelled it with chairs, tables, and anything that could block Donni from entering.

Donni tried to catch up but could not reach it.

"Open the door, Agnes. You won't be able to run anywhere!" Donni banged loudly on the door. Agnes trembled in panic and tried to find a way out. She took her cell phone in the room. Anges saw a window that could be a way out.
