"Darren, I know you definitely can't help me. But, at least I told you. Later if I act behind your back, you already know the problem." Calista replied that she was about to get up and leave the room, leaving Darren, who didn't want to help her at all.
"What do you mean?" Darren held Calista's arm, who was about to leave the room.
"My friend is in danger, and nobody wants to help her. I'm her only friend. Should I keep silent?" With sharp eyes and clenched jaws, Calista stared at Darren.
"Don't mess around. Just report it to the police if this is a criminal act." Darren answered no less insistently.
"There is no evidence and witnesses. How can I report to the police?" Calista answered.
"Well, you know that. There's nothing you can do right now." Darren gripped his wife's shoulder, still emotional and bursting with anger.
