"Your beloved nurse hasn't left the room since morning. She didn't even touch her breakfast." Grace enjoyed lunch without feeling guilty because one other resident hadn't eaten at all since this morning. Lewis, who had just returned from cleaning up last night's riot with his team of shadow soldiers, furrowed his brows at the report.
"Didn't you ask her out to eat?" Lewis put the jacket on a hanger behind the door. Grace just shrugged nonchalantly. The woman who always looks sexy no longer cares about the veiled woman Lewis hired to take care of her. Lewis glared at the woman who was enjoying her favorite pasta.
Knock knock ...
"Likha? Aren't you out for breakfast and lunch?" He waited a few seconds but didn't hear a response from inside.
"Likha? Are you ok?" Still waiting and still no sound from inside.
"Likha, I'll come in if you don't open it," Lewis said. And, still no answer from inside the room.
