227. Bitten By A Snake

Donni gave a signal with his index finger to his lips to keep quiet. Donni wanted to look inside with his back to the light so that his shadow would not be seen from the inside.

Darren managed to peek through the bamboo screen. Three men inside were fast asleep on the floor with a makeshift mat. Seeing the men with grim faces and looking very tired made Darren's suspicions increase. However, they decided not to disturb those who were sleeping.

Instead, they approached the minivan parked in front of the hut. Cautiously, the two men approached the car. Darren felt he had seen this car speeding, but he didn't know where. Relying on the flashlights from their respective cellphones, Donni and Darren peered into the minivan through the glass window. However, they found nothing in it.
