262. A History Behind The House

"Darren, when are you coming home?" The pregnant woman who fell asleep because she couldn't keep her eyes open for long felt a large and slightly cool hand rubbing her face.

"If you're sleepy, go straight to bed. Don't sleep on the chair anymore." Darren answered the question not with the correct answer. Calista just realized that she has now moved places.

"Why did you come home so late? Lots of work, huh?" With eyes still half-literate, Calista shook her head, trying to regain consciousness.

"Not really. I got home at eight, and you were already asleep. Have you had dinner?" Darren walked to the wardrobe to change. It seemed that the blue-eyed man had already taken a bath. It could be seen from the bathrobe he was wearing, and his half-wet black hair was still dripping down his robe. Calista remembered that after having dinner alone last night, she immediately went upstairs to her room and opened her laptop. Unexpectedly she even fell asleep.
