The Young master meets the reincarnator

Blood Lotus world, Taiji sect, Han Hao's classroom

Han Hao, Han Guang and Han Heng, were setting and waiting for the teacher to arrive.

"I have heard that the reincarnator will join us to day" Han Heng whispered to Han Hao, trying to alleviate his boredom while swinging his legs back and forth.

"You have already told us, idiot" Han Hao responded while lazily lifting his head from his table.

"But that was a while ago, I have some new information about her" Han Heng responded teasingly.

"You are trying to entice the wrong person here, I don't care about the reincarnator, as long as she isn't a threat to our sect, which if she was the elders would have already dealt with her" Han Hao said rubbing his face with his hands.

"But the information is really interesting" Han Heng continued trying to get a reaction out of Han Hao, being bored truly lets one do stupid things.

"Stop pestering me, do you really want to see the mighty brick again "Han Hao took out the brick from his ring and gestured threating.

"Besides why are you talking to me shouldn't you be talking to Han Guang instead" Han Hao looked at him questioningly.

"You see the information I found about isn't the kind Han Guang would be interested in"

"What are you two talking about?" Han Guang asked.

"Nothing that would interest you senior"

"Han Heng found something about the reincarnator but he doesn't want to tell you "Han Hao pointed at Han Heng who looked a bit betrayed.

"Hmmm, did you find anything extra about her power"

"No, otherwise I would have told you"

"So what did you find out?"

"You, being interested in anything other than battle, is this an illusion?" Han Heng said pretending to be shocked.

"I have learned that sometimes attributes that on the surface have no connection to battle could affect someone's abilities in battle" Han Hao stared while looking at Han Hao.

'So it is really about fighting in the end, never change Han Guang' both Han Hao and Han Heng thought.

"You see the reincarnator is extremely good at predicting the future, some say it's because of divination or karma prediction"

"How interesting" Han Guang said while she was looking to the side.

"You are not interested at all, are you?"

'Divination at the qi refinement level…. As expected of a reincanator'

"Han Heng, can she use this ability in battle?" Han Hao asked, his mouth forming a smile.

"I don't know … oh shit" Han Heng's eyes widened, as if he reached enlightenment and entered the second step instantly.

"For someone who is supposed to get information, you are lacking subordinate, espicially when your main job is to look for battle related information" Han Guang looked at him with burning curiosity in her eyes, and a hint of annoyance.

"How am I supposed to get information about a hypothetical ability? do you want me to go and ask her directly? Do you want this poor little insignificant cultivator to ask a mighty reincanator about their secret, she might not even have this ability" Han Heng used logic to reason with Han Guang knowing full well that it is useless.

"I don't care, your job is to gather information, not to put hope into the heart of the hopeless then to snuff out so cruelly, Han Hao refuses to fight me so do not give a possibility of an exciting fight that may not be" Han Guang said while looking at Han Heng as if he dug her ancestor's grave.

"I did not know junior sister could be so eloquent " Han Hao said while smiling at Han Heng mischievously.

"But senior sister I didn't try to give you hope, I even told you it isn't information related to battle, besides Han Hao is the one who said that she could use divination for battle" Han Heng regretted ever bringing up the topic 'I didn't even insinuate that she could use divination in battle, yet senior sisted is using this excuse to bully me'

"Ignorance is not an excuse, I am your boss you should know how I think by now subordinate"

"This subordinate is incompetent please do not punish him" Han Heng kotowed towards Han Guang

As Han Hao was submerged into his own thoughts and Han Hao and Han Guang were arguing because of his machinations and Han Guang's desire to bully Han Heng, the teacher arrived with a student trailing behind him.

"Attention class, we will be having a new student join us for our final year, treat her well"

The student stepped forth looking arrogantly at the her fellow classmates, and announced "I, Han Chao will surpass you all"

'The new student… is she trying to provoke everybody? Hmmm, maybe she is, after all one shouldn't underestimate reincanators maybe she wants to fight more to advance more rapidly and regain her skills"

'Child I have never seen someone who represents their name so well since Han chang' the teacher's eyes were twitching at the display

Everyone's eyes shifted towards the three students sitting at the front.

Han Hao was gazing into a hand mirror and fixing his hair.

Han Heng, was furiously recording names on a notebook with his right hand while reading an interesting book.

Han Guang was the only one that seemed to bother about the new student, she smirked as her intent swept the class, pressuring her surroundings with sheer will, the entire class was frozen in place, the chairs creaking, the desks shaking, many students tried and failed to move as their minds were also being attacked savagely by the intent, each of them feeling death encroaching on their very being.

Han Hao continued tidying his appearance, Han Heng carried on reading and writing, however the reincanator was shaking

Then she uttered a single sentence "I look forward to your challenge", and instantly the pressure disappeared and the students could breathe a sigh of relief.

At that moment a single thought passed in Han Chao's mind "What the fuck?"

'Alas the monsters of this generation are mayhap too much for you to challenge'

"Student Han Chao can you take a seat?"

Han Chao regained her composure and headed to the seat next to Han Hao who looked at her annoyed 'Why don't you go sit next to her? she is the one that accepted your challenge, don't drag me into your mess'

'He looks like a young master, maybe he will be a good target to extort money out of'

The thoughts of Han Chao and Han Hao couldn't be further apart.

The teacher coughed, and looked at the students, instantly a calming aura enveloped the students, immediately their minds that were in turmoil were pacified and their bodies that were shaking were mollified.

"Today we will discuss an important topic, the Heavenly Dao"

Instantly the class' attention was drawn towards their teacher, after all the Heavenly Dao was an omnipresent presence in a cultivator's life.

"Many of you have only heard rumours about it, or read old stories that are stored in the public library, right?"

The students nodded to their teacher.

"I am here to tell you that unlike in the stories the heavenly Dao isn't an obstacle, it isn't something to defy or surpass, it will provide the greatest assistant in ascending to immortality"

Half of the students looked shocked, while the other half already knew this, after all it is common knowledge, however they still listened intently knowing that the teacher has much more knowledge than the library or their parents.

Han Hao looked towards the shocked face of the reincarnator 'How strange? Isn't she from our Heavenly Dao?'

"You see those stories spread back when the world was a very different place, and continued due to many not having much knowledge about the inner workings of the Heavenly Dao"

"Our Heavenly Dao, ever since it's arrival, has been gracious to cultivators, it sought the path of peace with its cultivation seeking inheritance rather than ambivalence or hostility, instead of killing cultivators who take too much resources it made deals with them that benefited both sides, it established a heavenly organization that seeks to protect the heavenly dao and its worlds, it enlisted second step cultivators to help it and many other things"

"A Heavenly Dao is the will that governs a chiliocosm, above it is the Grand Dao, a heavenly dao makes the rules and laws of its own world, the laws must be reasonable towards its inhabitants and must follow the laws of the Grand dao above it"

"The laws of the Grand Dao are usually vague guidelines that restrict Heavenly Daos from annihilating all sapient life or putting absolute restriction on cultivation, most Heavenly daos are hostile to cultivators because of how they plunder resources"

"Our Heavenly dao is different in that regard, for example usually heavenly tribulations are sent to prevent cultivators from ascending to the next stage within limit of the grand dao of course, however our Heavenly Dao sends tribulations to temper cultivators and make them stronger and prevent unworthy cultivators from ascending, cultivators who are too weak and would suck resources needlessly without being able to ascend to the next stage due to their faulty foundation without killing them, giving them another chance to reshape their foundation so they can reach the next realm with less resources"

"Now some of you may be wondering why would the Heavenly Dao choose to do this? The answer is very simple its far more profitable for it to do so"

"Sure allowing a large number of cultivators to reach higher stages is not beneficial by itself, but resources were something a Heavenly Dao could replenish due to its absorbing energy from the chaos, usually Heavenly Daos fear that their absorption speed is lower than the speed at which cultivators consumed energy, which is a valid concern, however our Heavnely Dao has made a deal with every second step cultivator that is allowed to stay under its roof, that they would help it absorb energy to offset the resource consumption"

"Of course from that another question rises, why don't other Heavenly Daos do the same? A very simple answer is killing a second step cultivator even an extremely weak one would provide far more benefits just from their unique laws being absorbed, Another answer is, leverage most Heavenly Daos start out weak and naïve, if they used this strategy they would be taken advantage of by cultivator and their sense of self would be eradicated or they might be enslaved, then How did our Heavenly Dao survive?"

"This is a fact not known to many organizations, our Heavenly Dao is not truly a normal one it had experience before coming to this chiliocosm, the experience allowed it to easily maneuver out of being enslaved or eradicated when making deals and interacting with cultivators"

The teacher finished his long lecture and started stroking his beard.

"Students, all of you know that this is our final year, after this year you will be chosen by a master, then a year later we will have the tournament that for many would decide their future, after that tournament you will be sent to establish bases in the lower worlds" Han Huizhong gazed into his students deeply

"This year is only the beginning, make sure to concrete your studies, and show off your skills, after all the master that chooses you will heavily affect your future performance and potential, many of you may have no proper weapons due to lacking a background and the sect's stipend may not be enough, so today we will go to the Life weapon pavilion"

Han Hao's drifting attention instantly snapped back to his teacher 'Finally, the Life weapon pavilion' A wide smile appeared on his face and excitement danced in his eyes
