Ren, a modern doctor and a secret master magician, suddenly finds himself inside a random book he picked up at the airport...as the villainous older brother of the protagonist. As the bad guy, he's supposed to make life difficult for the Male Lead until the latter grows up and kills him in revenge. However, looking at the broken teenager in front of him, Ren can't help but feel his heart soften. 
Fang was an orphan who had never known what a family is. Abandoned at birth, all he knew was pain and fear. He loved nothing, and wanted nothing...until he saw the angelic Wade. To save Wade, Fang didn't hesitate to sacrifice himself. ..after all, there was no one to cry over him.
But then, Ren appeared and turned his world upside down.

The Villain Saves the Male Lead

<p>Snow, Smoke and Shadow were even more photogenic than Fang and Ren, much to the delight of the photographers. They were also exceptionally intelligent and well behaved, and they enjoyed playing around in the sand so much that it made even the locals want to join them! Ren and Fang had been reduced to background support for the three furballs, and the tourism department was so pleased with the results of the new photoshoots that the minister gave Ren another oilfield, with instructions that the profits from the oilfield would be solely used to buy treats and toys for Snow, Smoke and Shadow. Pax had a hard time holding back his laughter as he explained the contents of this agreement to their legal department for drafting.</p>

<p>"Where on earth did you find such beautiful cubs?" the minister asked Ren. "They're just too adorable. Even I didn't know that simply playing in the sand could be so much fun!"</p>
