Sophia had just finished cleaning the bathroom which happened to be Angel's bathroom. Angel had decided to move into one of the numerous rooms in the house so that Sophia wouldn't find an excuse to go to Jason's room.
Now Sophia was in a blue top and brown knickers with her usual yellow apron and gloves. She was holding a big bucket of soapy water. The house was quiet because Jason had gone to work. Mrs. Medes has gone to see a friend with Nathaniel. She usually carried 10 year old Nathaniel with her because she saw him as her grand son. Veronica and Angel had gone to the spa. So the house was pretty much quiet. And clean. Thanks to Sophia. Angel had strictly stated that she'd be in charge of cleaning the house for a week. So she had just done that. Today happened to be the last day. She was so tired. She didn't even get enough sleep these days. As she made to pass a room, She sees Janvier on the bed reading a book.
She stopped and couldn't help but stare at her. For a week now , she had never encountered her. She hadn't even heard her speak. She wasn't sure if she was cruel like the others(except Nathaniel). But as Sophia stared at her, she had to admit that she looked like 'an' Angel. The way she crossed her legs in the bed smiling every now and then as she read through the book. The way she turned each page so carefully as if each page was precious. She was beautiful but not as beautiful as Angel. Sophia guessed why Angel didn't like her. Angel happened to be the most beautiful girl in the house. Not until she came. Hahaha.
Janvier looked pretty thin. She had long darkish brown hair that trailed down her back and stopped at the back of her thigh. Her eyes were round and blue and her lips were small and full. Her skin shone so radiantly as if she had applied oil over it. She kept staring at her until Janvier looked up.
Sophia reddened. What would she say now. She was caught spying like a creep. And who knows how Janvier was going to react to this. She gulped.
