Pearl was mixing a small concoction in a glass cup using her finger.
It was milk but she had added poison in it and as she stirred it now, the pure white color had turned to a sweet-looking yellowish color.
Her face bore a grimace as she took out her finger and slides it over a napkin on the kitchen sink. She looked at the concoction.
"Let me see how you'll escape this one..." She muttered to herself.
For over the past few days, Pearl had tried different methods of killing Sophia. She didn't want to resort to carelessly killing her, to avoid being caught in the crime. So she tried other methods.
But no matter how much she tried...Sophia just happened to be very alert and cautious, escaping every one of her traps.
She could remember just yesterday...She had poured a little quantity of oil at the top of the stairs and had called Sophia to run down stairs to see something.
Her plan was to make her sister roll down the stairs and break her neck, dying in the process.
Sophia had run out of the room, anxious. But just as she was about to step on the oil, she stopped and frowned.
"What's wrong" Pearl had said looking up at her with an innocent look.
Sophia crouched to the floor and swiped her finger over the oil on the ground. She looked at her fingers and carefully wiped it on the ground when she was done.
"Someone was so careless as to have spilled oil here. Do you know what could have happened to me if I didn't notice this" Pearl's eyes widened in shock, anger and frustration. 'How were you able to see
that small patch of oil Sophia!!! Grrrrr!!! I've tried literally everything. Do I have to just shoot you straight in the face to get rid of you? Why won't you just die??!!!'. "I'll get a rag" She had said and had gone off.
As Pearl slowly wiped her soiled finger on the napkin, she replaced the sour expression on her face with a small smile.
'She'll be so dehydrated after a stressful day at school, she wouldn't hesitate to gulp down this refreshing.." She held up the cup and stared at it. She was looking for a word befitting for the deadly concoction. ".....banana smoothie....."
