First Quest

"Yes! I had actually worked! For a second there, I was uncertain if I had stats or not, well after seeing my stats, I can tell one thing, I got to improve them more!"

Luna was just about to leave the cave through a small opening she had found while running around appraising everything, when she remembered the herbs and the huge moon crystal that would definitely help her in some way, she quickly made a vine bundle and grabbed all the herbs she could see and stuffed them inside. However, the moon crystal was on the ceiling of the cave, so she had to fly to get it, but how could she fly?

Luna glanced behind and noticed her wings, facepalming, she realised that she totally forgot that she's a dragon now. She tried flapping them, only for the wings to give up midway. Annoyed, she climbed a vine and leapt off once again flapping furiously, but this time she only skimmed it barely. Frustrated, she leapt off and beat her wings 2 times more quicker than normal, due to her rage. Finally, she managed to drag it down with her and she collapsed on the ground, drained of her energy. But, hey, at least she got it, right?

Eagerly, Luna placed the crystal in the vine bundle and dragged it out along with the rest of the herbs. However, as soon as she stepped outside the cave, she felt like going back in. Why? Because she emerged from the colourful little cave into a literal deserted plain stretching on for miles in every direction. On top of that, there were harsh winds that blew sand into her face and blinded her. However, after rubbing her eyes multiple times, Luna continued walking, as there was no more point in just hiding in that little cave anymore, she would have to come out sometime.

Walking through the miniature sandstorm, Luna couldn't help but wonder where she was, for one, she was in a completely different world, and she wasn't even a human anymore! She wondered if she could get a map of the place, but then quickly dismissed the thought, because where on earth could she even find a map in this barren wasteland? So, enduring with the dry wind whipping against her scales, she travelled in a random direction. While brooding about that, the system, which she had not heard from in a while suddenly gave a ping.

Seeing that, Luna was amazed, she didn't think that there would be a quest function seeing as it hadn't appeared before, but she didn't spend too much time thinking about that, the quest seemed easy enough, but she herself was still a common beast, so she was a bit cautious. In the end, she still decided to think about it later, when she actually encountered a common beast. Spending too much time thinking about the quest right now was a waste of time, so she started walking again.

After a while of travelling in the desert with no movement at all, Luna spotted something moving up ahead. Hurrying forwards, she found the source of the movement. It a sandy coloured bunny, that blended in with the desert, it was extremely agile and it's eyes darted around nervously every few seconds. Thankfully, the bunny seemed to have not noticed her yet, as Luna had been staring intensely at it for some time, because she had been starving for a long time, with only some occasional herbs to eat, but they were not every fulfilling and tasted bland.

Luna quickly appraised it, hoping that it was a common-type beast, not one of those beasts that looked small and fragile, but could turn into an enormous giant. Luckily, she was lucky and it was in fact a normal Desert Bunny.

The bunny hoped around cheerfully, unaware of the eyes watching it. When it finally stopped to rest, Luna quickly blew some flames towards it. Startled, it didn't have enough time to dodge and died. As Luna's flames weren't too hot yet, the rabbit was only a bit scorched. Ding! Another notification sounded in her head.

"Quests were actually pretty useful then", Luna thought, "I guess I can just use them to level up." Bringing the cooked rabbit to her mouth, she chomped away, but one thing she didn't know was that the meat also gave her experience. As she munched on the rabbit meat, notifications were going off in her head.

[Experience Gained: +20 Exp]

[Experience Gained: +20 Exp]

[Experience Gained: +20 Exp]

[Experience Gained: +20 Exp]

They were all going off whenever she took a bite of the meat, and soon she was at level 4 already. After seeing that one bunny bought so many benefits, she quickly ran around looking for more, however, she forgot that finding one bunny was hard enough, so how on earth was she meant to find more in such a short period of time? So, at the end of the day, tired from searching aimlessly, Luna found a spot that was more or less covered by some big boulders and fell asleep. Although she didn't realise it, as she was sleeping, but she got another quest in the night.
