Just, pretend.

As soon as Viel Salvador released his statement regarding the issue, hundreds of congratulatory messages have been sent to both Viel and Jasmine's social media accounts. In just one statement of Viel, Jasmine's image has been changed to the girl who captured the heart of the bachelor from a cheater, and it is not just that, she has been receiving different endorsement offers from different clothing lines and makeup companies. It was a vast improvement for Jasmine however, everything has its consequences.

What is the consequence? She must live in Viel's mansion. Viel Salvador's mansion is the epitome of both luxury and aesthetics. It has white marble walls with golden lines as a design that screams elegance and power. The chandelier hanging from the ceiling is covered with gold and crystals beneath it is his black-colored faux fur sofa. Each corner of the mansion is extremely luxurious.

Staying in one roof with the hottest bachelor has its pros and cons; the pros are you get to see his handsome face every morning and before bed, the cons is his attitude. Jasmine felt like she is his prey, looking for a weak spot to start devouring her.

"What are you looking at?" Jasmine asked Viel who is currently staring at her while playing with his food. This was just her second day at his mansion and yet, Viel had already annoyed Jasmine.

"Just trying to find the Jasmine that I saw on the makeup advertisement." He replied. Jasmine did not miss to notice the smirk plastered on his beautiful face.

She had accepted an offer from a makeup company, of course with support from her boss. Jasmine accepted it without a second glance especially with the high range of money they are offering to her just to promote their products.

"You look so sweet in that picture." He continues teasing her.

"Oh, I don't think you will see that again, imagined I see you every morning." Jasmine teased back and start acting like she wanted to puke.

"Oh, too bad. You're going to stay here for four months." Viel likes to tease her, and Jasmine is aware of it, and with that sentence, Viel wins their quarrel.

The room had been filled with silence once again. Both Jasmine and Viel continued to eat their breakfast as if they were alone, their situation lasted for an hour until Viel opens his mouth to speak.

"A friend of mine invited me to their annual ball. I need to bring a date." Viel told Jasmine, while gently scratching his collar bone.

"Can you be my date?" Viel asked Jasmine without looking at her eyes.

"Obviously yes, we are currently pretending as lovers," Jasmine stated the obvious.

"You are quite sarcastic, aren't you?" Viel said as he narrows his gaze at Jasmine.

"Why? Do you find me annoying now?" Jasmine jokingly asked him and in just a minute she realized her mistake and that is not to annoy the bachelor.

Jasmine instinctively pulled herself away when Viel aggressively pushes himself closer to Jasmine. She noticed how Viel clenched his jaws while looking at her.

"What? Hey! Don't get too close!" Jasmine stuttered as she mustered the courage to look away at Viel's taunting amber eyes.

"Why would I find you annoying?" Viel whispered closely to her ear which sent shivers to her spine. His voice was seductively deep. She can smell his mint breath and felt the way his breath touched her skin; it was breathtaking.

Jasmine did not reply, and this makes Viel look at her in her eyes making the gap of their face closer. She instantly closed her mouth as Viel's lips almost touched hers.

"I don't think, I would ever find you annoying." He answered his question and pull away from his handsome face away from Jasmine. He immediately stands up and loses his necktie a little bit then he left the dining table. On the other hand. Jasmine found herself blushing and relieved. She knew that everything is just pretending yet, she cannot stop herself from liking it.

Jasmine went to her work after finishing her breakfast, and of course, Viel did insist that he would send and fetch her after work. She did not mind it because she can save some of her money however, she instantly regretted it once she noticed the press waiting in front of their company building. Luckily, the security had helped her and Viel to pass the crowd. Walking her way to the office is another topic; all her co-workers who never gave attention to her had now their eyes on her, especially her co-workers who have an interest in her pretend fiancée. Jasmine was the center of attention, even her bosses are interested in how she and the bachelor met. Without a choice, she told them a lie.

"We first met in a bakery." She lied.

"Who is the one who approached first? Was it you or him?" Her seatmate asked her. That question was a matter of pride for Jasmine.

"He is. He asked for my number." She told another lie.

"What it feels like as his fiancée?"

"Well, it was kind of annoying because of the press but Viel is a sweet partner." She said truthfully as what she observed. In Jasmine's opinion, Viel as a partner is sweet however, he can be scary to others.

"Yes, that why we cannot blame you guys if you decided to keep it private." That was the reason Viel made his statement regarding the issue.

"Yeah, no one suspected a thing until Viel becomes jealous when he saw you dancing with your friend!" Her seatmate said and began to giggle. Jasmine just smiled at them, while in the back of her head is curious on what their reaction might be if they knew that everything is just pretending.

Viel Salvador is busy reviewing the paper works and contracts that his secretary Fiero has given him. He tosses the rejected document onto the floor while humming. He looks so peaceful and yet causing chaos to his employees.

His secretary fidgeted his fingers while waiting for Viel's reply. He still has not told his secretary to leave the office nor asked him to make him a coffee.

"S-sir?" Fiero, his secretary asked him while nervously touching the brim of his glasses.

"What?" Viel asked him with his monotone voice.

"D-do you want a c-coffee?" His secretary asked white stuttering.

"No. I had breakfast together with my fiancée, Jasmine." Viel informed him and stare at him with a confused look.

"Oh, yes," Fiero mumbled awkwardly.

"What is it?" Viel asked him once again, with an annoyed tone.

"Well, you still have not permitted me to leave the office. Sir." Fiero quickly told him making his sentence a little hard to understand.

"Oh. You may leave no and tell them that rewrite the paper works. Honestly, it sucks. Good thing I am in a good mood." Viel told him and Fiero nodded before leaving the office.

When his secretary left his office, Viel immediately grabs the papers and put them into the paper shredder. Then he opened his cabinet and grabbed a brown envelope that contains photos.

He opened the envelope and took all the photos that have been delivered to him two days ago. It was a compilation of Jasmine pictures from the makeup company. While enjoying his view he suddenly received an email from someone.

"This is not funny." The email user commented on the file attachment, which is the viral video of Jasmine and Viel at the Salvador Hotel.
