"You said to be honest so I am-"
"That is not that I am talking about. I didn't think you were going to drop a sudden bomb on me like that." Osbert got to his feet, and paced around the room. "Is this a joke?"
"I am a hundred per cent serious," Jel said, sitting calmly on his chair. "You can ask me all the questions you want. I will tell you whatever it is that you want to know."
"Ok," Osbert said, crouching in front of Jel. "Which country are you the king of?"
"Not of a country." Jel said, "Remember that place I took you to?"
"You are that king from legends?" Osbert got to his feet again, looking at Jel with wide eyes. "I didn't know."
"No one does," Jel said nonchalantly. "I keep my identity a secret. Other than the people at the balance and Lillian Rose, no one else knows. Now you do."
"But ... why are you telling me then?"
