Into the Mind

"What do you think about, Osbert?" Jel asked, sitting on his bed, hardly able to make anything out at all, except the smells around him.

"You called me in here to ask me that?" The little girl asked, looking at him with her arms crossed over her chest. "I thought you already knew my opinion of him back in the castle."

"I am just asking," Jel said, holding his hands up. "You are the most brutally honest child that I raised, so I want to know your answer. What kind of person do you think Osbert is?"

Sighing, Rosy sat on the bed, beside Jel, thinking. "Well, he seems like someone that is very naive and very easy to … manipulate."

"You think so too?" Jel asked, chuckling as he fell back on his bed. "I thought that same thing when I first met him. It was fairly amusing to be very honest. His heart is as good as his soul though."
