To Death

"So …"

"So?"

Jel and Osbert sat opposite each other in the room full of sculptures, one of the sculptures laying on the ground in pieces, as the sun began to set outside, sending a gentle, cool breeze into the room as they both sat cross-legged on the ground.

The doors creaked open and forest green eyes appeared as she looked around the room, raising an eyebrow at the two.

"Well, this is a little awkward," Rosy said, peeking into the room before stepping out once again. "Well, whatever. I hope you both enjoy yourselves, I am going to my room."

She closed the door behind her before walking away, leaving the two to look at each other once again, still unsure of how to begin the conversation.

Chuckling, Jel ran his hands through his hair, thinking for a second. "I didn't think a day would come where I find it a little awkward to talk to you. Has the spark died out?"
