Hurry

"Osbert!" Jel's voice disappeared in the distance as the man closed his eyes, only to open them in a completely different place.

"Have you finally decided to accept your responsibility?" A voice in the distance said as a familiar woman walked to him. "It has been a while, has it not?"

"Mom?" Osbert ran to the woman, pulling her into a tight embrace, voice shaking. "Is it really you?"

"Of course it is. Well, part of me anyway." She said, shrugging slightly before patting him on the back. "I knew that you would be able to break the curse so I placed part of my subconscious in you to help you but … you do not seem ready, do you, son?"

"I don't want to do this," Osbert said stubbornly, moving away from the woman. "I am not going to do it. You will have to find someone else to do it. I am not killing my mate."
