"Are you feeling better, Lily?" Alby asked, handing her even more napkins. "I did not mean to make you cry that much."
"I did not mean to cry this much either." Lily chuckled, wiping her teary eyes with the handkerchief as best as she could before clearing her throat. "By the way, why were you so adamant against knowing the prophecy?"
Sighing, Alby pulled the blanket closer around him and stared at the floor, his feet tapping against the cemented ground. "I had a feeling something was up and I thought … if I did not know about the prophecy, I can just avoid it easier.
"You know how people fulfil their prophecies when they know about it and actively try to avoid it? I thought … since it concerns me so much, as long as I do not know about it then I should be alright … right?
