"My lady, Murid's mother is here to meet you." my hands halted when I heard the name. He was a loyal man and deserved much more respect. I had never thought that his only sister would try to poison me.


"Let her come in." Clara nodded and left but soon returned, followed by an old lady. 


"My lady." the old woman bowed her head and I nodded. 


"You are here for your daughter?" her silent tears turned into sobs when she nodded.


"She had tried to poison me by mixing poison in my tea." I replied calmly. She fell on her knees and started doing kowtow. 


"My lady, my son had already died. I only have my daughter now. If she would die too then I would have no reason to live anymore. My son sacrificed his life to save you. But if you still could not forgive my daughter, then hang me with her too. So that I did not need to bear the pain of losing another child too." my hands clenched into a fist and my teeth gritted.
