I trembled a bit when I finally broke the magic that was done on Evan. how strong the illusion was to even depleted my mana! The man shrieked when the illusion broke and his mana scattered all around like the shards of a broken glass.

He fell on the floor and finally Evan stood but he was looking puzzled. I was sure he had no idea what happened to him and I did not want to tell him either. Not when we were not in our boundary. If anyone else heard they would know the reality of Evans too.

So, I looked at him normally as if nothing happened. As if I could not see the man lying on the floor so that he would feel that it was all an illusion. He continued to look at me then at the man but finally nodded and left after a while.
