Without any concern

I looked at the boy with horror. There might be a chance that he was wrong. There might be a chance that the story was made by his mother to keep him inside the house. But I did not want to take the risk. Even if the matter had only one percent of reality in it. I still wanted to study it.

"Then we shall go and ask your mother and so do other mothers. I will give a toy to every child and arrange a feast too.`` I announced and they both looked at me with enlarged eyes. Then the boy jumped at his place. It felt like he wanted to dance with happiness.

"Are you telling the truth, pretty sister?" he even forgot to address me formally. How easy it was to entertain the kids. They became happy so easily yet the greedy adults. They never felt satisfied no matter how much they received.

His eyes were sparkling more than stars. I could understand her happiness but why was Evan looking at me with horror as if he had seen the ghost.
