Chapter 29

The following day, the sky was grey and drizzly in the morning. Arana had just come out of her apartment when a rainstorm crackled outside, so she had to withdraw her feet and sighed.

The sound of a car honking was extra clear in the rain. Arana subconsciously looked up and saw a white car parked in front of the building, and at that moment the window slowly rolled down to reveal a familiar face inside.

"Good morning, Arana."

"Samuel?" Arana froze for a moment.

The rain always comes and goes quickly in summer, and it wasn't long after they left the block that the rain outside subsided and the carriage grew quiet.

Arana looked to Samuel, "Thank you for picking me up."

His fingers holding the steering wheel were clean and slender, just like himself, without any flaws. His face was always with a few kindnesses.

"It's okay, it's on the way."

"On the way? Hasn't the exchange finished yet?" Arana remembered he said he was going to Kiawah Hospital because of the academic exchange.
