Chapter 53 Samson Cares

“Take a bath!” A voice came over, interrupting my imagination.

Turning back abruptly, I saw Samson gazing at me with a pair of deep and unpredictable eyes. We faced each other, making me flushed and flurried. Then I turned away and hurried into the bathroom.

Although the water sound was loud, I could still hear the movement in the bedroom. I thought it was Samson’s phone ringing. But when I came out, I saw Samson holding my phone.

I realized that he answered it, so stepped forward soon, “Who’s there?”

He did not speak, but handed it to me in a cold face.

It was Jim. Why did he call me now?

I answered, “Hello, Mr. Paul!” I had to pretend to be polite and unfamiliar so as to avoid Samson.

I, out of the corner of my eye, saw him leaning on the chaise longue and playing with his phone.

“I have asked people to deal with the headline. A press conference will be held if necessary.” On the other side, Jim said in a solemn voice.
