What Calamity wanted was the suddenness.
Then they came to the Solomon’s Mansion.
Calamity walked ahead. Tanner was more bashful than before but hesitated at the gate of the mansion. Calamity asked, “Do you regret it? If you regret it, let's go back!”
Tanner shook her head abruptly, “No, I'm just scared!”
Calamity couldn't help but laugh as she saw Tanner, the daring protector of Crouching Lion Faction, feel horrible about the reunion with her parents. She took her arm and said nicely, “What are you afraid of? That is your happiness!”
Tanner stared her big eyes, “What if they are not my parents?” She scratched her head and said, “I always think that my mother is dead. Suddenly such a big family tells me that I'm one of their families. How can I believe it? I'm afraid that it's fake as I believe it!”
Calamity was a little sad about what she said. Just like a person in extreme poverty suddenly winning the lottery, it was more like an unreal dream to Tanner. So she became gentler.
