Angelique was sitting in the dining room when Gertrude arrived home.

"Mom..." Gertrude looked around to see that her mother was already home. He had thought that his mother was still out of town. But to cover up her foul behavior, Gertrude must still look innocent in front of his mother, "I miss you." He said as he gave his mother a warm hug. After that, he pulled up a stool and sat down next to his mother.

"Where's Irina?" Gertrude asked. He himself hadn't even turned on his cell phone and checked the call logs or incoming messages.

"Where have you been?" Angelique asked curtly.

Gertrude furrowed her brows. "I just came back from out of town," he said.

Angelique lowered the cup of coffee she was about to drink and looked at her son, "Since when did you become a lecherous and immoral man, Gertrude Duncan?" Angelique asked in an angry tone.
