Joseph's steps stopped in the hallway near his apartment door. There sat a girl hugging her knees, maybe she had been waiting a long time.

Joseph stepped slowly toward the girl and crouched near her. "Hey ..." He touched the girl's hand and she seemed to move. Apparently she had fallen asleep in that place for quite long because her hands was so cool.

"Gwyneth, what are you doing in this place so late?" Ask Joseph.

Gwyneth rubbed her face a few times to clear her eyes, "Sorry." she answered and immediately stood up. Having just woken up from an uncomfortable sleep, Gwyneth stumbled almost to the ground and Joseph caught her thin body.

"Come in." Joseph said while holding Gwyneth's body and unlocking his apartment. He led Gwyneth in and sat her down on the couch. "You must be cold outside." said Joseph. He ran into the room and took the blanket then covered Gwyneth. Her whole body was shaking and her face was also pale.
