"You've grew. You look more and more like your mother Mia."

"I appreciate the compliment your grace." Its kind of awkward for the three of us to be here at the same time. Its been a long time. "You have some thing to discuses with me and Duke Moreya."

"I do."

"Mia. If your asking for support." "I am." 

"Alie Its not simple like that." "Let her talk Leigh. She has give me a solution to avoid all the headaches that stops us."

"Oh and what would that be?"

"I know we had our difference on the state of kingdom. The both of you have asked me to join one side and chose my mine and I still will. I will make clear that I am here as an equal. In the past you have given me promises for things I would not agree to."

"What you saying Mia?" "Lazare relies on these waters that under both of your domain. You could threaten them with ban of there traders to the main land. The bottom of the mainland and the east peninsula's are all under your sphere Duchess. They will be completely blocked off."

"She right. It could work and stop them. In the beginning we could not do such a thing because Isabella was..no offense Mia but always strong to defended its self."

It could work...but I need some thing out of this. "And what do I get out of it. I am a leader and I would still be getting involve. The southern empire will not be happy about it nor the other kings."

"I mention you both sent me many conditions that comes with your support. I can agree to half of your conditions."

"Your agreeing to both of us? That doesn't sound fare. You must choose a side Mia. Me or Moreya. And I want all of the conditions to be agreed upon. You want help. Then make sure I can be promised that the Southern empire will not set food in those lands."

"I can't agree to them all. I will not lose anymore freedom of this kingdom. I will not become a vassal state. If I do then that means giving more of my peoples resources to you."

"But you will be given military assistance along with other benefits." "Your being unreasonable Leigh."

"I said to call me by my title Duke Moreya."

"Forget it. That isn't what this is about. Its about keeping the influence of the southern empire out of the southern continent! I have not problems of having half of my conditions agreed too Mia."

"Mia. I have always loved you like a sister. But this is different. You can't do this alone. You need protection. And I need the southern lands under control and I can do that. Moreya has no use for such lands obviously."

"Again I don't want to be puppet state....Leigh. I also think of you as a sister but your demands are unreasonable. Every thing you have stated was kicking all non humans out into the southern lands or be put into slavery. Why?"

"I have a war I must win. And many of my vassals have slaves. I have no choice." She's not budging. Verse was right. I look to Moreya who said to see one of his friend become such a person. But at the same time its reasonable. She is a duchess that wants more power to stabilize the entire south.

"Duchess Leigh. If you do not agree then I have no choice but to completely cut ties with your faction. I have my own sphere as well. I will ban all trade and open up new ones."

"What?"

"The land of stars have forgotton the threats outside our world. I need both of you to make this work. But if not I will pledge my alliance else where. To the O'ma state."

"Mia...what are you talking about?" Sorry Verse. "Duke Moreya this will not change our relationship. But your faction will not like what I do. Every country in the land of stars will point there attention to me and might even start another war with the people of the golden caliphate empire."

O'man is island state that is protected by the Golden sultan of the Al-Jannah empire. Having an alliance with another world that has violent history with ours will not be tolerated."

"Your not serious. You could end up starting a war with the entire region." "And that is some thing you don't want. You want to continue your grand plan with out any bump's. A war with the Al-jannah will destroy that."

"I don't believe you. You would never do some thing like that. Even for you it would put your people at risk and your life."

"Lazare will not stop and they will come back with a bigger army. My kingdom is in shambles. At this point I will do what ever needs to be done. But this could turn in some many ways. The entire region probably won't do anything if I do that. We have oppressed each other. Killed each other. There is no sense of kinship in this world of ours. Either way I can benefit from it one way another even if I have to bend my knee to Al-Jannah."

...Damn it. Nobody can't see what I'm trying to do....I can't have Al-Jannah on my doorsteps and I don't need a regional war here if I want to complete my plans. She is right the region probably won't do much. Al-Jannah is more powerful then us. The empires would not be able to do anything the Northern Empires prince has a mission of his own so he won't care much. But then again it could bring him into it.

"...Sign...fine. There to many possibilities that could happen if you did that. And I don't want to risk it. Fine. I agree to your plans as long as half of my conditions are meet."

"Thank you. I will call once again when we win this war. I will need you both present during negotiations. Since Arnell is just as stubborn as we are."

"Fine. I will be waiting...you've changed Mia."

"I changed for the better of my kingdom and its people. What about you? Is all you have done really for the future? Or is this some thing more."

"..."

"No matter. Its your war and you have stated much that this is your problem. Good bye." Moreya and Leigh stood silent in the room. "...It didn't have to be difficult. Leave Isabella to its self. It doesn't need us and she doesn't need to be guided anymore."

"She will officially be crowed Queen soon. Once she does she will understand the many things that come with it. We both should understand right."

"...I never let tradition and history control my choices." "How wonderfully great for you." "I don't know how far your willing to take this obsession of yours. But I will be right next to you. To stop you Leigh...good bye."

I'm glad...cause I won't ever stop. 

In Isabella Mia was feeling more frustrated then happy. She thought that she would have a much pleasant conversation with the person she called sister. Why did she have to make it so difficult! Why is she like this!

"Mia?" 

"Nothing Cairo. Lets observe what's going outside for now. And we need to do more. The knights that were a sign to protect this fort. Send them out to help any citizens that are trapped in the rubble."

"I won't object but no one will be here to protect you." "I not worried about that. I need to save as much people as I can."

"I understand." I said we'd win but. "Vlatka should be done on her end. We need to finish our side soon."

"Princess!" 

"What is it?" "Lazare has reached the gates! There trying to bring down the doors!" Its time to use what Alie taught us. Back the wall a knight had ordered them to pour the oil onto them. The monster Servin was riding on was getting closer. Its very slow because of its size. 

"Ignite the oil!" The lazare knights bodies were lite to fire. They screamed in pain trying to roll on the ground. Many jumped into the river that was basically our moat.

"Keep fire at them!" The group cheered as they had them run back from the gates. There attention was then toward the monsters Servin had brought.

Servin felt he was the strongest on this battlefield. He never stopped smile. You can't stop me with magic you lowly knights. Lighting Cross onto the entrance. He had made an opening for the knights to pour in.

Mia who the whole thing was in panic now. "We need to seal it with magic!" Cairo nodded. "Stay here. I'll deal with it."

"Be careful." 

"I will." Its about time I started fightning. Cairo take of his robe revealing dozens of small daggers. Cairo jumps form the tower and onto the yard of the fort. "Sir Cairo?" 

"It need Isabella's knights help to save this city. I need you at the entrance of the city if I can't seal it in time before they try to make a entrance."

"Yes Sir!"

Laney was getting the advantage over Hargur who was not able to use his magic because of the spell that was casted around the space of there battlefield. Hargur acted more of wild animal then before. He's not stopping his attack and not matter how much damage he has taken. He just keeps coming.

He starts to mock my magic and how weal compared to others. He then starts to through rubble from the destroyed houses at me. 

His disdain for and the annoyance of this fight pushed Hargur to use his magic. "Your magic is annoying! I'll just have to eat it up!" 

"What is he doing!?"

"Hade's Eyes!" The flamed eye had started to suck in every mana. My spell was getting sucked in by his own. It was the same spell that he used against Tise when she used a spell.

My domain had begun to attack him with waves of electric. His skin had patterns that looked like branches on his skin. I can't believe he's taking on all those attacks!

After awhile he had sucked in all the mana around him. His entire body smelled like burnt flesh and smoking like a burnt out campfire. He after all that he still lunged at me. I use my sword to take him down to the ground by increasing my attack with mana.

Again he lunged at me to grab my legs. He throughs me onto the ground. I bounced a few times before I could stand up again. 

Once I had looked Hargur was already close enough to kick me. I flew backwards into some houses. Some citizens were still running or were too scared to leave because of the trebuchet attacks. "Damn it."

When I thought Hargur was coming for me he decided to leave our fight. He was going after the princess. "No you don't!" I catch to him and stop him by putting up a wall of lighting. We were at a stand still. Hargur dropped his hands and took a breath while looking up at the dark clouds. 

"This has gotten more entertaining Laney. I'm not tired. I'm simply just annoyed. Your going fall over soon. Your human body can't keep up with my own. Sooner or later you will be burnt out of energy."

"Its my job to protect the princess. I'll die protecting the future of Isabella." 

"Protect a country you are not from is stupid." "Take your own words to heart Hargur." "Hmfp. I guess your right."

While my fight was still no where near its end. Tise was having trouble of her own. Tise was not getting anywhere with her fight and she had not made one mark on the man named Corbin Bell. His gift is troublesome! He can see what ever attacks I through at him.

"This is getting no where elf girl. stop this and I will make it easier for you." "I don't believe in imperial words!"

"His rapier is destroying all my attacks." What is even up with his weapon!? Its not normal? It looks very different from a normal metal weapon? I can sense mana but it feels so different some how. And the fact he has no mana in him is confusing to me. For him to be able to have some thing like that and to wield it should not be possible.

For a second he slides a bottle of green substance into the slot in his handle. He then uses the mana on the floor of the building. Vines had grew out from the floor and walls. 

"Just follow in line like the rest of your filthy race." Guess fighting like Laney could help. I can't keep using arrows to fight him. I jump from the rail and onto the ground. I draw my eleven sword that was given to me by my parents a long time ago.

"Elven steel...your getting more serious now."

"My name is Tise Yorlanda of the moon elf race! I will do my people honor by taking your head! Imperial!!!"

"..." Yorlanda...so your from that clan.
