Flowers!

Giving attention to the sound of knocking, he swivelled to see her.

"What was it, Louis?"

"How dare you leave without notice?"

"I told you!"

"I don't think so!" and pointed at his thighs, asking her to sit on them. She widened her eyes and whispered, "This is my workplace, please."

"Don't worry and come here," he pulled her towards himself, which made her fall on his thighs. "What is it? Why you called me?"

He curled his hands around her waist while she wrapped her hands around his neck.

"Nothing, I just missed you!'

" Ahhh!!,"

They started talking about random things.

"What do you like the most?" he asked her, looking straight into her eyes.

"Umm!! maybe flowers,"

"So, every day I have to give you a bunch of flowers! hm?" he said.

"Of course my boyfie,"

She got up from his lap and said, "Bye! I have to go!"

"What type of girlfriend I have who doesn't kiss her boyfriend for once even!" he said, curling his lips into a pout.

She turned red and made steps towards the entrance of the room, without kissing him. A sad smile crept on his face and got back to his work. While driving back to her home, she received a call from an unidentified number, putting her iPods in.

"Hello?" but she didn't hear anyone say anything so, she looked at the phone screen to check if it was on or off. Her all attention was on the phone and forgot to focus on the driving but then her car collided with the truck. Everything in front of her was blurred and soon closed her eyes. Lying on the roadside unconscious, few people made their way to look after the accident but none of them called an ambulance. Blood was flowing from her body but it was a shame on humanity that no one encouraged her to get admitted to the hospital. But out of the crowd on the road, one individual called an ambulance as possible as he could.

Subsequently waiting there for 10 minutes, an ambulance came and put her lifeless body in the ambulance and made its way to the hospital. Her phone was damaged too but enough to notify her mother about the incident. The person who called the ambulance also tried to inform her guardian about her current state. For few seconds, he looked for the phone to work. Turning it on, he sighed and searched for her contacts.

"Hello?"

"hey! Who is it?" her mother asked?

"Your daughter met an accident. Please go to the XXX hospital," he said and hung up on the screen. Her mother lost her mind after listening to that person. "NO!" she whispered and ran towards her car to see her daughter.

Getting in the car, she started the engine and started to drive as fast as she could at that moment. The hospital was not so far from the house so, soon she reached and went to reception to ask them about her daughter's state who was lying on the bed lifeless.

"WHERE IS LISA?" she asked the receptionist.

"She is in the operation room, please wait for the time till she comes out of the room, this direction," she said and instructed her to go ahead in the right direction. Tears were running down her eyes, she didn't care for anything but her life, she only had her and if she lost her too then it wouldn't be possible for her to live. Hurriedly she made her way to the operation room. She was desperate to know about her condition and waited outside the room. She didn't know what to do so, she dialled Louis's number.

"Who is calling me now?" Louis said while he was bringing the bouquet for her best girlfriend. Taking the phone out of his pants, he looked for the caller ID and realised that it was Lisa's mother.

"Oh wow!" with that he picked up the phone.

"Hello aunt, How are you?" he greeted and asked her about her well being.

"LOUIS!" she whispered emotionally.

"Why do you sound so sad?"

"Lisa met an accident, come soon," she whimpered.

"Hmm?"

"Come fast, please to XXX hospital," she said and turned off her phone.

He moaned and threw the bouquet that he bought for her, and ran to his car. Nothing was going on in his mind at that time, he only wanted to reach the hospital as soon as possible. He parked the car and ran inside the hospital. "Where is Lisa's room?" he asked. "This way, please," she instructed him to the direction of the operation room. "Lisa," he ran towards the operation while whispering her name. But instead of Lisa, he saw her mother's figure sitting on the chair there.

"Auntie?"

"Louis!" she whimpered and got up from her sitting position.

"How's she now?"

"I don't know I have been waiting here for the past half an hour but no doctor came out of the room."

But their attention diverted to the sound of the door opening and ran towards the doctor to ask about her condition.

"Doctor! How's her state now?" her mother asked?

"We have to wait for 24 hours to examine her and then we will let you know about her condition and I would ask you to not go near her because she's still unconscious," the doctor said and went away from there.

"Don't worry she gonna be fine!" Louis said while holding her in his arms. She laid her head on his shoulder with teary eyes. Thereupon 12 hours, she asked him to go back to his work otherwise someone would know about his presence in the hospital. None of the people recognised him at the hospital because he was wearing a mask which saved him from any news coming out the next day.

"It's okay, don't worry about that!" he said.

"Louis-"

"I will go after I see her conscious!" he said as a stubborn child. She gave up and waited for the other 12 hours to pass.

Laying her head on his shoulder, she continuously looked at the clock on the wall to bring them a good morning.

The next sunrise, the doctor came to examine her. After that, he came and reported everything to both of them.

"She is in her senses now but she hit her head on the hard stone which may cause her to lose her memory of the past few years. And I request you to not force her to memorise the things in the past if she lost her memory," the doctor said.

"Thank you," after that, he went from there.

Her mother opened the door of her room quietly, trying not to disturb her. They both came to face the body of her who had injuries on her head and as well on some parts of her body. Her mother was hurt after seeing her daughter in that condition but she was glad to know that she was out of any danger then.

On the other side, Louis couldn't imagine all that happening just in half an hour. He wanted to surprise her with flowers and her mother too but he didn't aware of fate, what it might bring to the people.

They were thinking about the time with her before she left. Soon they noticed some movement, Lisa was making and after few seconds, she managed to open her eyes to see the people standing in front of them.

"How are you feeling Lisa?" her mother asked.

"Does it hurt somewhere?" asked Louis.

Staring at their faces and around the room for a minute, then she blinked twice to make everything before her eyes to see clear in view.

"What happened to me?" she managed to utter those words from her mouth. Remembering the occurrence, her mother said, "You met a small accident, my daughter!"

"Hmm? Accident?" she asked in a very low tone. She recognised both of them but didn't remember about the past few years.

"Are you hurt somewhere?" he asked and Lisa turned her gaze to him. "No!" They decided not to bring any happening in the past few years in front of her.

"You take a rest Lisa, we are going outside," said her mother. She hummed in response and both of them came out.

"She is fine now. Don't worry about anything now!" he said, tried to make her feel relaxed.

"Hmm," she said and took a seat near.

But Louis didn't know that she forgot about him as her boyfriend, she only remembered him as her childhood best friend. He wasn't thinking that way but after some days, he had to face the reality that she forgot about that he was her boyfriend.

After that, the relationship between them would take a new turn. Before anything, everything would meet its end. Every love story in the world had to face some ups and downs in their lives, and that's what makes the relationship better for the future. And now it was the turn of Louis and Lisa.
