Time Changes

"But when it happened?" her mother whispered to her.

"I just brought into the world after talking to him!" she said and danced in the living room like a princess. But her mother was beyond shock after realizing that. "It would break him!" she mumbled to herself and some tears started to roll down her cheeks.

Unknowing of the fact that his love was with another man, whom he loved to death.

Her mother wanted him to not know because she knew it would change everything for him. His love would hang around with her endlessness but not with her. Ignoring those thoughts he was trying to enjoy himself because if he would think about that, then fear of losing his love would go on with to scare him. But being Lisa's best friend, and he shouldn't know about her being in a relationship then.

Giving attention to his phone, his eyes caught her ID on the screen. A small and sad smile crept on his lips. Without any holdup, he picked up the phone and made it close to his ear.

"Hey, what's up?" she asked him.

Noticing the change in her voice he asked, "Why do you sound so passionate?"

"I should be!"

"For what?"

"Noah told me that he likes me too and I agreed to request of hanging out together. I'm so happy," she cheered and waited for his reaction.

Freezing for a while, he was taken back by her words. Silence took over him for a whole good minute.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Louis?"

"I think I would call you after some time. Right now I'm stuck with something strange."

"Yeah! but-," before paying attention to her, he hung up the phone call.

"Who was on the call?" her mother asked getting out of her room.

"I wanted Louis to know about Noah and me but without reacting to it, he hung up the call!" she expressed the reason for her pouty face.

"W-H-A-T?" her mother yelled at her.

"What happens to you all of sudden? Why do you always react that way whenever I tell him anything?" Lisa said out of frustration.

"Couldn't you wait for some more time to let go of your so-called relationship with him?" her mother was angry at her. And of course, she had a reason to be.

"Why do you always act like that? huh? Did I do something that offends you?"/

"Now you won't realise anything but soon you will face the consequences and will regret everything you are doing now!"

"What the hell I did that you are fighting for?"

"Nothing, don't worry!" she said and went away from there. They fought over him because only her mother knew that how much he did for her but circumstances were like that even if she wants to let her know about Louis and her but couldn't.

While there was Louis on the flip side, who couldn't process those words and feelings. His heart was broken down into millions of pieces. "This is what I got in return for loving her since the beginning!" he uttered to himself. Then he had got to someone beside him so, without reasoning twice he went straight to Isabella's apartment. There wasn't any expression on his face at that time but his heart was grieving poorly.

Knocking on her door, he stood there while holding the tears in his eyes.

"Coming!"

She unlocked the door and her eyes met the broken figure of Louis. "Come inside," she said to him. He followed her to the living room and sat down on the divan. Getting him a glass of water, she went to the kitchen.

"Have water!"

She also made herself comfortable beside him.

"What happened," she asked him about the reason behind his sad face.

Turning towards her, he looked at her with tearful eyes as he wanted someone around him but then he felt so alone after losing her.

"Just relax and tell me what happened?"

"I lost her Isabella! Finally letting his tears come out of his eyes. Wiping the tears away from her face, she looked at him and took his hand in hers.

"I know, this is hard for you to see your love getting distant from your sight. I have. experienced the pain that you are suffering through right now, but time changes and she just need some time to regain her memory," she assured that and smiled at him.

"What if she falls in love with him and forgets about me!" he whimpered.

She cupped his face and made him look at her. "It's gonna take time and trust me she will come back to you," she whispered sweetly to him.

"I have noticed that with her presence around, you make sure to smile otherwise I didn't remember the last time he laughed," she thought to herself. He was a younger brother to her and seeing him like that, her heart suffers too. "Just wait a bit more!" she said and hugged him from her side. Missing the presence of someone beside him, he sobbed silently. She made sure to calm him down.

"Okay, now let's go somewhere to distract your mind from these feelings," she said and held his hand, and went outside.

"Why she acts like that whenever I bring his name in front of her?" Lisa threw her phone on the bed out of irritation.

While her mother tried to call him but he was not picking up. For 15 minutes, she had been trying to call him but got no response from his side. She was so worried for him.

"Why is he not responding to my call? Where is he?" she mumbled to herself? It was making her imagining some bad images in her mind.

But felt relaxed when she got a text from him.

[Auntie, I'm okay. Don't worry.]

She took a breath of relief and walked outside for some minutes. Everything broke up within a blink of an eye.

Might be that was the pain that God made them face before entering into a happy life forever. She was thinking about Lisa and Louis, nothing could make her doubt their trust and faith in each other. She watched them from the start. There was hardly any day when they didn't play together, hang out together. Whenever Lisa needed him, he always stood with her. The time when she wasn't with her, it didn't bother her because she felt that if she had him by her side then she could feel alone.

But then the situation was the opposite, she didn't lose her boyfriend but her childhood best friend too. It might take some time for her to realize her doings but it gonna come soon.

"How are you feeling now?" she asked him, who was busy, feeling the cold winds against his body. Isabella knew that taking him somewhere near the beach would make him feel good.

"I asked how are you feeling now? she yelled at him and chuckled a little, seeing his small figure playing with water.

"SO GOOD, YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE ME RELAX AFTER A HARD DAY!" he yelled back at her.

Humming in response, she sat down and missed the presence of her husband. No matter how hard she was from the outside but her insides was always soft for everyone, specially for her husband and him. Circumstances in her life made her that way. Pulling herself out of her thoughts, she observed that it was getting cloudy and it could be raining any time so, she called him.

"Louis, come and let's go back home. I guess it would be raining soon!" she said loud enough to make him turn his head.

"Coming,"

After that, he felt so light and good. "Thank you," he said.

"Why?"

"For being my elder sister and always staying with me!" he expressed with emotions to her.

"Stop it,"

After talking for a moment, they got in car and head back home. Dropping her at her place, he bid bye and begin again to go further in his direction after a bad day.

And soon it started raining!
