She would be happy

Her mother came to greet the person, who knocked on the door.

Louis's heart was beating so fast because he was somewhere scared to overlook his love in that state.

Soon her mother unlocked the door and pleaded, "Who are you?" as his back was facing her.

Veering around to face her, he glimpsed at her face, totally clueless about what to utter.

"Hello, Auntie!" he greeted her but she was standing there, with her eyes wide open and with a surprised expression on her face.

"Louis?" she whispered.

He hummed in response and she smiled sadly after welcoming him for so long.

"Where were you?" she raised an obvious question while standing there as she didn't ask him to come inside, she started begging him about his whereabouts.

"You don't want me to come inside?" he asked and cracked up a little.

After realising, she made him come inside with her in the living room.

They both sat together and she was waiting for him to answer about anything.

He moaned and passed a smile before uttering anything.

"I lived with my mom for some time!" he murmured while facing her.

"I see!'

"How is she?" he finally asked about Lisa.

A small smile crept on her smile and whispered sweetly.

"Her state is improving!"

He thanked God for listening to that about her, a tear of satisfaction left his eyes. He was getting impatient to know about and then he finally relaxed. Her mother was happy to see him after a very long period.

"Can I see her?" he asked hesitantly to her mother.

"Why not?"

After that, he made his way towards her room, putting up with small steps, his heart was pumping so rapidly. Opening the door of her room, he passed into the room and encountered her senseless figure on the bed.

He cried out a little as some whimpers left his mouth while accepting a seat beside her.

Looking at her state, he turned his gaze to the other side to hide his tears.

"I'm sorry for leaving you in that state here unattended. But I'm glad I came to know about you otherwise I would regret it a lot. Now I'm so happy to see you," he expressed and caressed her hair. Without uttering any word, he just admired her face for some time and smiled sadly. But little did he know that her mother was embracing that moment of him with his love. And her lips curved into a tearful smile.

After some time, he tried to walk out of the room but something caught his attention besides her bed.

As the drawer was not fully closed, pulling that drawer and looked at something which made him moan a little. Taking that stone out from the drawer, he turned his gaze to her and had no expression on his face, he cried out his heart.

Because that stone made him recall all those moments of happiness and them together. He mumbled some words, "I know I'm beautiful but why aren't you there to call me that?"

Her mother also cried at that sight in front of her eyes but to make things back to normal, she couldn't do anything.

That moment was heartbreaking for them. Soon he got up, took a glance at her for the last time and kept something in that drawer for her to look after she wakes up.

He unlocked the door but he didn't want to leave her there in that state.

"I LOVE YOU!"

After that, he got out of the room with an unhappy face. While her mother pretended to ignore him and faked that she was not listening to their talks.

"Louis, come and have lunch. You must be hungry?"

she yelled from downstairs.

Wiping the tears away, he got downstairs and stood there for a while. She served the food and asked him to sit down.

"Com and eat fast!"

He didn't want to eat anything but he knew that somehow she would make him eat that food. So, without saying anything he sat down to have lunch with her.

"Are you okay Louis because I can see your dry tears?" she raised a question.

Those words were enough for him to make sad for her.

"Yes, I'm okay and she gonna be fine soon as doctors have told about that she is improving!" he whispered trying to hold his tears. While having lunch, he said a phrase that made her shocked.

"I have to go back because I can not face her like that!"

"But why? She would be happy to know that you were there for her when she was in a hard time as you always stood with her," she confessed.

"But you know the whole situation, Auntie,"

"I know but I don't want you two to forget about your childhood friendship because you fell in love!"

He could never say no to her so, he agreed to stay with her for a while. "But I will go once she regains her consciousness!" he conveyed.

"That's okay!"

They had their lunch and after some time her mother received a call from Noah. Giving a disgusting look, she picked up the call and Louis had his ears to the conservation between them.

"Hey, How are you, Auntie?" he asked.

"Good!" she gave a short reply to his question because seeing his name on the phone screen, already made her angry.

"How is Lisa doing?"

"Yes, she is doing well than before," she muttered.

After chit-chatting for some more seconds, she hung up the call and looked at Louis who seemed lost in his imagination. She asked him about the reason why he left his career midway.

"What was the reason for dropping your career?"

He turned and faced her confused face. Sighing before something was his thing those days.

"I wanted a break for some time and I didn't meet mom for so long so," he faked the exact reason behind that.

"Okay!" she mumbled.

"So-" he was cut off by a call from Isabella.

Picking that call, he excused her for a minute.

"Hm?" he asked, without uttering any word as he was upset with her for hiding the reality.

"Where are you?"

"At Lisa's house, Why?"

"You didn't tell me?"

"I thought of meeting you after visiting Lisa!"

"Are you okay?" she asked as his sad voice got noticed by her.

He didn't want to let her know so, he changed the topic. "By the way, where are you?"

But she knew him very well that he was ignoring the fact that he was sad for Lisa.

"Oh please! Tell me I know you very well so, don't try to put an act especially in front of me!" she explained and asked him to meet because she couldn't be able to calm him down through call.

He agreed to meet him in the evening. After that, they paused their conservation and went back to their work. And then he went back to her mother who was waiting for him in the living room.

Taking a seat beside her, he sighed and told her that he would be meeting Isabella in a while.

She agreed to him and then he left from there to meet Isabella at a cafe.

Soon he made his way to the same and after 20 minutes of driving, he reached there.

Taking a seat near, he waited for her to show up. Grabbing some coffee, he looked around to observe other activities.

"Hey, Thanks for waiting!" she came out and thanked him for waiting.

"It's okay. Have a seat!" he mumbled and waited for her to calm down as she was breathing fast.

Thereupon she sighed and asked a waiter to pass a glass of water for her.

Soon she diverted her attention to him who was sitting there with a long face.

"Now tell me, how are you feeling after seeing her in that state?"

Not whispering for the first few seconds, he kept up silent there.

"I feel you are sad but open up to me," she asserted to him.

"It's nothing but I felt terrible for leaving her alone and now it is hard for me to see her like that, lying lifeless in bed!" he let go of the pain off his chest. She stared at his face with forbearance as she was making an effort to understand his pain.

"I know that it is hard for you but none of us can do anything to make things back to normal!" she told him in an assuring tone.

And on top of that hardship, it was also overwhelming for him to see her with Noah together.

"I understand but loving her is hard for me after seeing her love someone else even now!" he explained that in a painful tone.

Isabella smiled a little as she knew that he was worrying over nothing. He was amazed to see her smiling when he was grieving from a very unfortunate moment.

"What made you smile in this situation?" he raised a question.
