The Beginning

In the year 2024, a meteor crashed on earth, giving people the extraordinary ability to control gravity. They can change the gravity of their body and can use it to fly. Those people were called Flighters. They used a special technique to control the flow of blood in their body to change gravity, the technique was called Flightcore Flow. Many scientists came forward to study the phenomenon but they all were unsuccessful. After 4 Year , a scientist named Professor Twig came up with his theory which turned the whole world upside down. He gave his theory regarding the ability to control gravity which made him one of the top Scientists of the world.

In 2029, War was banned and races became common for flighters. Races to compete for Power, Fame and Wealth were legalised under Flighters association, an association to look after flighters.

In the year 2030 Twig Created an academy for people who possess those abilities and it became the very first academy for flighters , WFA , World Flighter Academy. An academy to train upcoming flighters and to make them full-fledged Flighters.Anyone above the age of 10 and have the ability to control gravity can join here. It became the largest academy ever built and many top geniuses came to learn here.

4 years from then-

[Year 2034] ,In the Leo family of wheateston town, a small town in north of Solar city, A boy was born .With his beautiful blue eyes , the first thing he saw after coming to this world was light , a bright and colourful light .He was named Ray after the beam of Rays that can be clearly seen from the window.

10 years after, "Ray don't play, come and have your dinner" his mom shouted.He ran downstairs and asked his mom "Mom , In 3 month I will be 10 years old , can I please join the Academy , please please please" His little eyes were sparkling with excitement. His father Gray Leo told him " Son, even if you join the Academy doesn't mean you can become a Flighter, a Flighter needs to train hard everyday and only a few chosen one can be Flighter" .At dinner table Ray said " Mom and dad , just wait I will become the world's strongest Flighter and will win the IFCA (International flighters Combat Arena ) , a competition which is very famous and all the flighters in IFCA are elites of elites."

Whenever Ray saw his parent free , he asked them to send him to WFA . so three Month passes and now Ray is 10 years Old. Due to his cheerful and persistent nature , his parents did not have a chance except to agree to his request.

one day later his Dad made all the arrangement needed to go to central Grid City , a metropolitan city where the elections are held every 2 years.

It was raining when Ray started his journey, his journey for WFA. There was a small forest between the city and his town, Egg Forest. It's told that the fastest way to move between town and city was this route, it takes average of 4 days to reach the destination.

But after 2 days something unexpected happened , he was lost and his food supply was about to end. Without Food ,he felt hungry and frustrated. He also tried to use the power but as he was recently awakened and not had proper training, he was unable to control it and crashed with a old man.

The old man looked kind of strange , he was around 60-70 ,wearing a hat and white gray beard from his chin looked like a paint brush waiting to paint .

Ray though feeling unwell ,apologized for his mistake but as soon as he finished " Am sorry" he collapsed.

When Ray opened his eyes he was in a small and gloomy hut.He can't remember how he ended up there but as soon as he saw the old man tilting the land outside ,he remembered and somewhat felt embarrassed.

"Oh young man ,you took quite a time but fortunately woke up" the old man told with a teasing tone. But as soon he saw Ray ,he stopped his work and gave him some food. Ray showed his gratitude and ate to his full. He told the old man " I Ray , as a son of Leo family and a upcoming flighter champion ,promise that I will repay this kindness whenever you need me" . The old man thought for a second and then laughed " Hahahahaha ,young boy you are a funny one , do you think that I will need your help in the future. Hahahaha what a funny guy you are taking such a iconic pledge ,it's like in movies . ", the old man continued to laugh for few minutes and then introduced himself " I am Barry Lee , am not a native of this country and was migrated here with my father during the new age ( Term used to refer to era after meteor crashed)."

He and Ray talked about many things regarding flighters , stories during the start of new age and the power. Surprisingly to Ray , the old man was rather knowledgeable. Only within a few hours they became quite the friends. He gave Ray a Stone and a letter during there parting and told " Ray, my young child always remember with great powers comes great responsibilities , the stone I gave you is actually a piece of meteor that I found during my adventure . It wields great power, power beyond your thought. I hope you can someday utilise this power for humanity and become a hero who fight for humanity ."

As soon as Barry finished his sentence , he was shot .A sudden tension was created in the atmosphere. Ray didn't know what to do as if it was true that he have powers of flighters ,it was also true that he was only 10 years old. Ray tried to move the old man inside but was unable as it looked like he was in his last breath . Barry hardly grasped his breathe " Ray my time finally came , don't be sad , my days were almost finished . Remember to take the letter to Professor Twig , I met him once and he is a very kind person . He will help you become a sheath to contain the sword ( container to contain the power of stone) and remember all flighters are not good , There is always a shadow whenever it lights. Be a light and beware of sha-d-o---w---"

As he was finishing his sentence he died on Ray's lap. Ray's despite knowing Barry for only few hours felt a sudden surge of emotions , he shouted ,cried but no matter what he did , it was true that Barry died.

As Ray was shouting , he saw a group of 3 people hiding behind the bush . A long pink haired girl , a bald middle aged man and a small boy.
