Kyn found himself second-guessing his previous decision to keep Chris around in light of Chris's risky behaviour
Kyn's brow furrowed as he processed the information. As the puzzle pieced together, Chris's reckless behaviour and the peril he had unintentionally brought into their lives began to make sense. Kyn realised the gravity of the situation they were all confronting, which was a sobering realisation.
As the truth lingered in the air, Kyn realised that they had to make difficult choices. Their emotions and relationships had taken a back seat to the imminent danger that Chris's actions had created. With Gaia's presence still lingering in his mind and the weight of the truth before him, Kyn readied himself for the difficult path ahead.
Bertha's eyes held a weight of knowledge and resignation as they remained fixed on Kyn. She issued a final warning in a tone dripping with sarcasm, her words conveying a mixture of acrid truth and a subtle sense of detachment. "Congratulations to you, Kyn. You have successfully fallen headfirst into a sea of trouble. Good luck sorting out this conundrum!"
Her tone was ironic, as though she were commenting on a minor annoyance rather than a life-threatening situation. As she spoke, her form began to fade, and she waved off the conversation with an air of nonchalance. "I'm off to my own version of Limbo. Isn't it simply delightful?" she chuckled, phasing out her actions to play. She was not ready to deal with the quagmire Kyn had placed himself into.
Bertha's current existence entangled her with the 'destiny of souls' and the realm in which she resided in, unbeknownst to Kyn. An existence that, despite not being assigned to Hell, was in itself a form of imprisonment. The responsibility of moulding assassins, those destined to perform grim duties, weighed heavily on her shoulders.
Kyn observed her departure, her words resonating in his mind. He realised that the situation they were in was far more complicated than he had initially believed. The threat posed by Ra's guardians, coupled with the unsettling truth about Chris's actions, gradually revealed an ominous and perilous landscape. As Kyn contemplated their next move, he could not escape the feeling that their journey was about to become more perilous.
Gaia noticing the wisp leave couldn't help but say,
"Hmmm, so this mean I have you all to myself?", she chuckled.
