Impatient King

Elys and Aleksander looked at each other, a similar scowl shared between the two of them. It was clear as day that they left the capital with a bitter taste in their mouths, and a fiery temperament for the vampire clergy priests that came to 'help'.

"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" the both of them suddenly asked at the same time.

Their eyes widened with the coincidence that they said the same thing at the exact same time. What were the odds really for them to think the same too?

Aleksander cleared his throat and waved for Elys to speak ahead of him, "You go first," he said.

Elys shook her head and replied, "No, you go first. You were the one that seemed pretty upset."

Aleksander crossed his arms and raised an incredulous brow at his wife, "You are to say, wife. Were you not the one that threatened a vampire clergy priest at the capital a while ago? By the way, thank you for defending me, you did not need to do that, but you did."
